Jarrow, a 19th century coral-stone villa, is nestled on the beautiful south coast of Half Moon Bay, St. Lawrence. Its gentle elevation allows you to sit on the sun deck and watch the fishermen go out to the sea early in the morning , and return with the day's catch -- which you can have freshly prepared in the comfort of your villa or barbecue on the large deck.
The gingerbread-style villa boasts three double bedrooms, two large bathrooms, and spacious mirrored dressing rooms.
From the foyer, living and dining area and well-equipped kitchen, you can enjoy the spectacular views of the sea.
The unique beach at your doorstep. is protected by a reef which makes it excellent for swimming in the day or at night. You might be joined with friendly turtles!
The skylights in the bedrooms and lounge enable you to view the beauty of the moonlight, and to welcome the morning sun.
The southeast breezes of the Caribbean sea continuously waft through the villa, keeping it fresh and cool.
There are ideal swimming and snorkeling conditions for children as the tide is always low in the bay.
We are a 15-minutes drive from the airport, and a one minute stroll across the Beach or along the road to the St. Lawrence Gap where you find , the leading restaurants, nightclubs and Barbados entertainment.

Our stayed at Villa Jarrow was perfect. It was exactly what we expected based on photos. The home was comfortable and we felt safe. The private beach access and the sound of the waves created a very zen and relaxing atmosphere which we so needed. Property is in a good location - access to restaurants, bars, grocery store, and main airport. Looking forward to staying again.

This villa is literally ON the beach and has beautiful views. The historic nature of the home has a lot of character and the design offers a lot of space to enjoy the property.

Amazing location and easy to walk to everything! If you want to venture further than a walk, there are taxis very close by. Cute house, great view of the ocean.

Cant wait to come back
We wanted a private on the beach setting where the waves and sounds of the ocean were present and not just a high rise resort this time. That paired with the Primo restaurant next door and the views from there is just heaven. Carlisle Bay is10/15 away and I would recommend if looking for the same ocean experience.

Tim is an amazing host. He accommodated us in every way possible which made our stay very enjoyable. Having morning coffee on the deck overlooking the bay was our favorite part. Perfect location for walking to restaurants/stores and watching the sunsets. Make sure you get in touch with his buddy Mike who will be your personal ambassador for anything and everything!

Awesome Villa with Beautiful View
Our family really enjoyed Villa Jarrow! It is beautifully decorated, well-furnished, very close to many good restaurants and right on the clear turquoise water beach! We loved our mornings there!! Coffee and breakfast on the porch, while sometimes watching the fisherman bring in a catch. We had plenty of room and a well-equipped kitchen. AC in bedrooms is a good plus. Roseanne, the housekeeper, does a stellar job!! And Timothy Boyce is a very good host! we think anyone would enjoy themselves here.

Relaxing Stay in The Gap
Beautiful views in a good location, close to restaurants and a hop skip and a jump from the Gap. Although many thins closed due to COVID 19 we enjoyed that it was probably quieter than usual and loved the sound of the ocean right beneath us. We did not get in the water here because it was pretty rough during our stay die to Tropical storms. I could see where during the calm, it could be quite noce to swim out to the reefs. I would def come back ot his location.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL VILLA IN THE SEA!
We stayed at Villa Jarrow for 2 weeks October 2010, and loved it! Mixed Business with Pleasure and were pleasantly surprised value for dollar! The 40 Foot deck is literally in the Sea, and the view in a sheltered bay at night is awesome, yes, the gap can be active/restaurants/bars/shopping but, that is the charm of the place. The villa had all you need a home away from home, and safe swimming day or night. We have already booked again in Feb.2011...and are bringing our Friends from Canada...They are so excited..Thank-you Villa Jarrow, can't wait to return to the Gem of the Caribbean.

A little bit of Paradise
Walking in the front gate, with a straight view of that gorgeous aqua blue water will be imprinted in my mind forever. Waking up to the sound of the ocean was like a dream! Amazing to have a little villa all to ourselves with beach access and walking distance to so many restaurants and bars. There were four of us, and it was just the right amount of space. The bedrooms are air conditioned , but the living spaces are not so keep that in mind! We left everything open and had nice breezes blowing through the house most times, and there are fans. We had terrific weather, and met some terrific people. Villa Jarrow will always have a special place in our hearts and minds!

My experience at Villa Jarrow was amazing. Pictures cannot describe what you will experience while you are staying at the villa! Beautiful deck. Beautiful living space...beautiful everything. Truly a little piece of perfection on the island. You are near several shops and night life. Tim is an incredible host! He met us at the villa and gave us a personal tour and brought mangos from his tree!! He called to make sure we were getting around ok and if we needed anything. The personal touch of renting this space is invaluable! Tim...we will be back! Incredible!

We spent 7 days in Barbados and had an amazing time. But I have to say that being in Villa Jarrow was the best part of it all. Its beautiful deck/patio was the highlight of our stay, The Villa is located on the beach, we just had to get down a few stairs from our deck and we were swimming in the best beach in Barbados, We didnt have to take our bags or hire sun loungers. We could just swim any time of the day/evening and come back to our deck and lie on the loungers. It was the best place to gaze at stars at night. All the best restaurant in Barbados are located near the Villa. Cafe Sol was the best and it is less than a minute walk from the Villa. Sandy beach is a couple of minutes walk away. Worthing food court is ten minutes walk away where you can sit in the open and buy/eat variety of food from various trucks. The Villa owner was very hospitable and easy contactable when we had a question to ask. He welcomed us with the best rum punch in Barbados. We had plenty of towels and beach towels. The rooms are clean and have AC. The lounge and kitchen/dining area were well equipped and so fresh with the breeze from the sea day and night.

Great location
I together with 5 friends stayed at this property for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I cannot relate to any of the comments in the previous review.The property was very clean, we had no issues with the kitchen, bathroom or any of the facilities and it was spacious enough for our group. The water pressure and warmth of the water in the showers could be better but this is just a minor issue. Roseanne cleaned the property meticulously, Rudolph was nearly always available to drive us wherever we wanted and Tim was very accommodating with any request we made. The location of this property is fantastic, its only a few steps down to the beach and coffee in the morning on the verandah looking out at the ocean is truly something. It is also very close to numerous bars restaurants and beach bars, you are spoiled for choice We all had a wonderful time in Barbados and this property was an ideal place for us to stay and would return there when we decide to return to this fabulous island

Fun Week at Villa Jarrow
The pictures of the Villa give you a sense of the place but can not match the feeling of sitting on the deck with your coffee or rum punch and watching the waves roll in. It's almost like sitting in the water. Our host Tim met us at the Villa when we arrived and provided our first glass of rum punch and joined us for our first time on the deck - a great way to start a great vacation. Tim also hooked us up with Michael the Turtleman, who provided our family of 5 with an extraordinary boat trip that included snorkeling with the sea turtles and around some sunken ships. There are sea turtles in the harbor outside the Villa but we only saw them on our last day there so our boat trip was a great way to not only see the turtles but also see other parts of the area from the sea. There is a night club in the area that plays music late into the night, which made it noisy in the bedroom closest to the water. I slept in that room and found that ear plugs solved the problem for me. Otherwise Villa Jarrow was a great place for our vacation.

Super Two weeks
Definitely a great two weeks we had. The weather was spot on, must say the air conditioning in the rooms is a great plus . It could not be easier to have a swim in the sea than it is here. You literally just take a few steps, on the beach, in the sea. With the reef to block any big tides and waves, you are safe to wonder into the sea and we got some great footage swimming with the sea turtles. Location is great for restaurants ( there are a few food courts around with a lot of different food stalls )and happy hour is regular available for that cocktail or beer specials. If needed you can take a reggae bus to Bridgetown, Oistins etc for 3.5 Bajan dollars per trip. Just be warned it could get packed in the minibus taxis, but it was all good fun. And then a supermention to MC Turtleman, super Mike. Anything we wanted or needed he was there to help us out. Fresh fish, even cooked us some. Mosquito candles, waterproof carrier for our phones you name it, he got. He even took us to the Oistin fish fry on Fridays, and got as a table cause it gets ver busy. But his main thing is to take you out on his boat, for some fishing and snorkelling at the boat wreckages at Bridgetown, my daughter was very excited when she caught her first fish , a tuna fish. And got it cleaned and had a great meal. So a great thank you to MC Turtleman, to me super Mike. Timothy the owner was superb and very accommodating and it was a great pleasure to meet him, our paths will hopefully cross sooner than later.

Million Dollar view!
Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Villa Jarrow! We were a family of 4, with 3 adults and one 11 year old. Several more people could easily be comfortable in this villa. Communication with Tim was great from the very start and continued all throughout our visit. He arranged transportation for us from the airport, which was a huge relief traveling to unfamiliar territory. He then gave us a complete tour of the house and dropped us off for groceries. He also connected us with “Turtle Man” Mike, who took us out on a wonderful day of snorkeling with turtles! The house itself is quaint and full of character. We loved being able to have the house open and hear the waves crash 24/7. The area tends to be very loud at night with music blaring from the night clubs in the Gap. You can hear it best in the bedroom closest to the water, but the stone walls, fans, and A/C drowned it out in the other bedrooms. But please be aware if you are a light sleeper or bothered by loud music. If you are looking for upscale, 5 star accommodations—this is not it. But if you are looking for a comfortable home with a million-dollar view and a convenient location, you have found it! We were very happy with our choice to stay in St. Lawrence Gap with so many restaurants within walking distance. We also traveled around the entire island with a rental car from this location with no problem. Don’t miss Bathsheba and Animal Flower Cave! They were 2 great highlights of our trip. Book Villa Jarrow now! You won’t be disappointed!

Great Oceanfront Villa
We needed a place for one night and this was a great last minute find ! Less than 15 minutes from the airport - the host was kind enough to arrange pick up for our group is 7 since we were coming in later in evening. Rental was better than expected - listing very accurate. Great communication - thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
