Just steps from sustainable local produce at Local Harvest grocery store or brunch at City Park Grill, staying here puts you in the heart of the Morganford Business District. Whether you come for business or pleasure, take a stroll through the community garden next door or enjoy a Saturday Farmer’s Market in Tower Grove Park.

Truly in the heart of it all, we are only steps away from the Morganford Business district with local eateries, pubs, coffee/tea shops, and grocer. We are next door to the Community garden space, of which there is a free Little Library out front. We are several blocks from Tower Grove Park, the neighborhood's 289 acre gem that holds countless events throughout the year. Additionally, we are centrally located to all of St. Louis' main attractions as listed below: -1.4 mi (6 min) from the famous Missouri Botanical Gardens -2.5 mi to Historic Soulard and Anheuser-Busch Brewery -4.0 mi from St. Louis Zoo and St. Louis Science Center, (both are Free!) -5.0 mi from the Jewel Box in Forest Park -5.0 mi (10 min) from Busch Stadium -5.5 mi from America's Center Convention Center and The Gateway Arch -18 mi (25 min) from STL Airport.

Neighborhood overview:
Tower Grove South's centerpiece is Tower Grove Park to the north, a 289 acre park with stunning views, playgrounds, and tons of events throughout the year. The property is several blocks away from the park, but also just steps from the Morganford Business District, featuring a bevy of delicious brunch spots, restaurants/pubs, coffee/tea shops, spa/salons, and unique shopping experiences.

Getting around:
Although St. Louis metro area is generally easier to enjoy by car, staying here puts you steps away from the bus stop at Morganford and Connecticut, which offers easy transfer to the Metro Rail at Grand Center, which connects with Amtrak and St. Louis Lambert Airport. Ridesharing (Uber, Lyft) and taxi services are also available. There is street parking in front of the house, as well as a dedicated parking pad for 2 cars in the back (alley access) if you are bringing or renting a car.

Other things to note: ***IMPORTANT PLEASE READ ***
There are approximately 6 steps up from the sidewalk to the main floor. Watch out for the step halfway between the sidewalk and the main steps. For those who have decreased mobility, the master suite is located on the main floor. There is dual-zone central heating and air conditioning, with thermostats downstairs (hallway to master) and upstairs (just outside bedroom door to the left at top of stairs).

Amazing location and best host!
We planned a last-minute trip to St. Louis and booked this home and were so happy we did! The house was gorgeous, well-maintained with comfortable beds. Close to food and the park and within a short driving distance of all the main attractions. Our host was super communicative and gave us tons of recommendations. Highly recommend staying here!

A couple of disappointments
Finding parking proved to be quite the ordeal. Despite the availability of parking on the street and in the alley, navigating a large RAM truck through the area was challenging. The alleyway was particularly narrow, making it difficult to access the parking spots. Maneuvering the truck into and out of these spaces was extremely taxing. On several occasions, the lack of designated parking meant all the front spaces were occupied, leaving us no choice but to contend with the tight alley. Additionally, the communication regarding the street sweeping schedule—the first Thursday of every month when vehicles must be moved between 8:30 am and noon—was inadequate. This resulted in a $20 fine for a parking violation.

Graduation weekend
We were in town for WashU’s graduation. Had extended family join us as well. It was nice to have a place where we could all comfortably gather in our downtime with plenty of bathrooms and beds for everyone. The property was exactly as pictured and appointed with everything we could need and more. The location was perfect. It was a quick trip to campus and other tourist locations. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Great Place
Stayed for a few days with my family. The house was nice with plenty of space. My kids were very happy to sleep in big beds. There were plenty of towels, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were even extra pillows/blankets. I liked the neighborhood and being able to walk to coffee and restaurants. The location was great for getting to all of our activities quickly. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to St Louis for another visit.

St Louis for families!
Perfect location in Tower Grove South if you love coffee (Hartford ☕️), parks, and all things walkable. Hosts were nothing short of attentive and thoughtful before/during/after. Local grocery store just up the block, quiet nights, easy to navigate streets/neighborhoods (in car or on foot.) Plenty of restaurants for eat-in/take-out. Opted to walk to Botanical Gardens and didn’t regret it—especially since we could loop in gelato at The Galeteria. We had our child’s bicycle and it was a great option for evening strolls in Tower Grove. A short drive to Forest Park to get zoo (free) and history and science museum fix (also free!)

We had a great visit in St. Louis staying at this home. It had plenty of room for all 6 adults to share this space. The main level kitchen/living room area was great for hanging out and visiting. Very comfortable accommodations and super location for our holiday family get-together. We did a lot of cooking and takeout in the well equipped kitchen and especially enjoyed the waffle maker! Loved having the community garden and little free library next door. Very convenient to the Missouri Botanical Garden and its spectacular Garden Glow light show and a short drive to the Gateway Arch.

Great location!!!
We were in St Louis for a conference and loved this house so much! At first I was a little nervous about the neighborhood but we soon realized it was quite safe and had a really cute coffee shop, restaurants and stores within a short walk. The Tower Grove Park was also within walking distance and was just beautiful. The zoo and forest park were about 10 minutes away.

Great location for our visit to Chihuly exhibit at Missouri Botanical garden. Very quiet neighborhood. Parking behind house. Beds comfortable and baths were nice. Appreciated the coffee and coffee maker -avoiding having to go out. Schnucks supermarket close. We ate at the Vine nearby- great Lebanese food. Daughter walked 3 mornings in Tower Grove Park-a block away. Highly recommend

All Perfect!
We loved everything about this house and our time there. The rooms are spacious and lovely. Everything we needed was provided! We enjoyed spacious closets, convenient washer and dryer, plenty of towels and soap. The parking is very convenient, both behind and in front. The neighborhood was friendly and so well-located. Going to the Botanic Gardens, the Ballpark, and the Arch were easy to travel to. We really liked the little grocery around the corner and the 7-11 nearby. All perfect!
