Comfortable Stay; Early November
This was a comfortable home, and a nice location. We were staying mostly for business, so didn’t do much in town, but the main restaurant and shopping areas are two short blocks away. We did use the nearby nature trail to walk our dogs. The only concerns others might have with the house, and the reason for four stars instead of five, were: minimal kitchen equipment (few pots/pans etc.), steep narrow stairs to the second floor, and low water pressure in the shower. That said, none of these things would prevent us from staying here again, and frankly we might try to next year.

It really is a doll house!
I recently stayed here for a wedding and loved it. I am small and had a bed to myself. I was sharing the house with another couple and they are taller … the ceilings are low, the bathrooms small, and the bedrooms pretty cozy for two … it worked for us but beware that it really is small in every way. That said, it is an ideal location, clean, and has all the basics. I loved the screened in porch and the sweet yard. I would definitely go back.

This is a great property in an ideal location. We loved the porch and the fancy w/d unit. However, the mattresses are worn and the shower water pressure is weak. Explanation of pet protocol in the ad would have been helpful.

Our yearly visit to St.Michaels
We love St. Michaels and we love little houses like the Dollhouse. We really like the fact that the back yard leads directly to coffee shop.

Friend trip to St. Michaels
Had a great, relaxing stay at this property with a friend who came to MD for a short visit. The location is close to all of St Michaels restaurants & shops, and not far from the waterfront or the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. The property was very quaint and clean. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

St Michaels discovery
They property, location and amenities were great. The shower water pressure was lacking which made it hard to clean the soap and shampoo off. I did not receive the check in email but the host was very responsive and it did not impact is getting in. I would recomend adding in complimentary soap, shampoo and laundry soap.

Great Location
Great location, close to down town St. Michaels! Very cute historic house. Pool is a town/community pool .7 miles away. As descirbed in other reviewes: Pillows are flat/old, suggest to bring your own pillows. The AC on the ground floor is great, but limited on the second floor.

Lovely little house - cant beat the location - spotless - loved the powder room under the stairs! One suggestion - can maybe get a better mattress for the main bedroom! 😅

Cozy, charming getaway
I brought my parents who are seniors and we found exactly what others have said. The location is excellent to walk to the main street for shopping and restaurants. The home is comfortable and nicely restored and decorated. The steps upstairs are pretty narrow because of the age of the house but we had no issues getting our bags upstairs. Bring your own pillow(s)! The ones provided are flat and the beds are noisy, but again, its due to age. They're antiques and it just adds to the charm. I would definitely stay here again and in fact, would love to bring my husband next time for a long weekend.

Cute
Everything was as expected and nice. The beds were noisy though. Just rolling over created a lot of noise. I think that could be solved with a better frame and a rug under the frame. Everything else was fine.

Perfect weekend getaway
We stayed for a weekend of house hunting on the Eastern shore. It was a great “home base” and the location was terrific for parking the car after a long day and strolling St Michael’s by foot. The shower water pressure is weak, and the staircase was a bit narrow/steep for my almost 80 year old mom. The pillows need an upgrade. Clean, cute, good communication with owner and excellent location.

New Years Weekend Getaway
Very comfortable small bungalow house. Very clean. Looks exactly as advertised. Communication with the owner was very smooth. Instructions very clear. St. Michaels is a charming little harbor town. Lots of fund shops and restaurants. Warning, the stairs to the bedrooms is VERY narrow. Do not expect to carry large suitcases or other items up the stairs. Do not expect any extra niceties. Could use some new pillows. But overall, really enjoyed the stay.

Girls weekend
It ways just me and my 5 year old and a friend from work for the weekend. Perfect little spot for a girls weekend. Walking distance to everything. We only got in the car once and that was to visit The Inn at Cabin Perry. The rest of the time we walked to everything. The house had everything we needed for a great stay.
