The table had lots of dents and the paint scaling off, the windows were in bad condition...seals were comming of walls, especially around shower where carpet was a also bit manky. All in all think the room is too expensive for what it is, its a small room with a small double bed ( only access from one side as pushed against the wall ) and in general it needs a bit of love and a lick of paint. The Manager and staff were super friendly though and very welcomming and helpful.

Not bad, but, not “deluxe”
Decent room, bed was comfy. Lighting was very dark and the shower was adequate. Fridge in the room was a nice convenience. Continental breakfast was just cereal and OJ, fyi. Best part is that the pub serves amazing food and is lovely.
Comfortable enough for a one-night stay. Bed might be a bit small for a couple. Nice touch to have proper milk for my tea! TV not very good and noisy fridge (so switched it off)

Very surprised when arrived to be told our continental breakfast was two small packets of cereal (to be eaten in the room on a table with one chair!), a pint of milk, a small bottle of orange and water ! We had no soap in the bathroom - just shower gel in a dispenser in the shower ! Damp and mould in and around the shower. The shaving light above the bathroom mirror did not work, the tv aerial was useless as could not hear anything above the loud buzzing noise and we had to turn the duvet completely around before getting into bed as the duvet cover was open at the top end with the duvet hanging out! But the icing on the cake was when we tried to check out at 10am the whole pub was closed up and there was nowhere to leave the key. I called the pub and there was no reply so I had to just leave the room unlocked and left the key inside.
Rooms are very small and not particularly hospitable. Facilities are basic but functional. It would have been nice if the mould had been cleaned off the windows and the milk in the fridge had been fresh.
very small hotel. Only 6 rooms available. The major business is bar and restaurant not hotel. Very nice service but the room is a little out of maintenance
lovely location clean rooms bathroom a little dated but very clean lovely pub would stay again

VERY Basic, very
Very basic accommodation, small and worn.
Tiny telly but worked fine. Felt like a shed sat in a pub garden, which is fine if you know ahead of time.
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and food in the pub was great. Someone just needs to spend some money on maintenance of these little rooms.
Also note that the included "Continental breakfast" is a pint of milk, small OJ bottle and a couple of mini cereal boxes (see picture).
Excellent staff and service, friendly welcome.Great ambiance and clean accomodation. Highly recommended !

Small rooms with bed against wall and no access on that side. Fridge very useful.
First room TV, BBC1 or BBC2 unavailable. Moved us to other room. No hot water and shower not working. Morning spent waiting in vain for this to be fixed--annoying as we were going to a college party. Man tried very hard but female's attitude quite negative. At our request allowed to use superior room for shower. Dinner both nights good but would have appreciated it if possible to have conversation in bar Saturday night with EXTREMELY loud music! Manager did not even think of offering drink for all this hassle. Poor show!
Outstanding food, very good selection of beers, immaculately clean. Room furnishings perhaps a little tired, but overall outstanding value at the price.Staff very polite and pleasant.
Clean, comfortable, good value, what more could you want? Will certainly use it again when in the area.
This was a long weekend stay for several family members. The accommodation is cosy - you can only access one side of the double bed - but well equipped. Ensuite toilet and shower, TV and free mini-breakfast. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, but you the pub itself is closed in the morning - no cooked breakfast available.
We stayed here because we had an early appointment at Papworth Hospital. Although the room was clean, it was very tired and needed a complete refurb. The photographs of the rooms must have been taken some time ago, as the room was nowhere near as fresh looking as they would suggest.
