"Wonderful vacation at this wonderful beach house. Thunder cove beach is stunning. The house is well appointed, and had everything we needed. I would ask for more information in the guest binder. (Area highlights, restaurants, what’s open in the shoulder seasons, how to get down to the beach, if swimming is advisable,). Central island location, ideal for day trips. New sheets are needed for the two kings and more responsiveness from the management company would be appreciated"

"This house was clean and well set up. Matresses could be updated but were still fairly comfortable. Listing indicates that there is a hot tub and cabin bedroom and includes pictures of those amenities, but we discovered after booking that this was only available at an additional cost. This is misleading. Overall the house fit our needs and had what we needed to make our trip easy and stress free."

"The property was unique. The bed in the main building was very comfortable. I didn't like the shower being in the bunkie and that there was no privacy when entering and exiting the shower. Unfortunately there were many mosquitoes so staying outside at night wasn't possible. The power went off during our stay and we could not find any candles so we drove out to get some. "

"Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "

It had all of the necessary amenities and the information booklet with all instructions for our stay was great. We had excellent weather for late September and explored lots of places in the island. "We stayed at this property as a family, the location as a home base to explore cannot be beat. The property was clean, and although work was being done to the exterior when we were there, everyone was so friendly, it was hard to mind. Be aware this is an old house, and the steps are steep to the upstairs. It would have been nice to have was some sort of guide to sorting the recyclables. I would recommend a stay here, and would stay here again."

"Very nice cottage , with steps right down to a beautiful and secluded beach . As our stay was at the end of the season , many restaurants and bars were closed but we found a place to eat and supermarkets open . The queen bed upstairs was super firm , too firm so I slept on extra comforters ! I would suggest maybe a mattress topper to soften it !! Great communication with Dean, who was very helpful"
