Amazing for Families
This was perfect for our whole family, my mom and nieces and their families! Ample room for space for teens and "oldies" and little kiddos too. Quick walk to beach, so convenient, it doesn't have to be a full day of planning to onto the beach! Amenties were lacking nothing! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! JR was so friendly!

Awesome place!
The owners were so accommodating to us. They let us have a last-minute early check in. The location is practically on the beach so we could send kids to and from without worry. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Fantastic Beach Location
My workmates and I were in the area for a company function. Rather than stay in hotels, we chose this location and realized instantly we made the right choice. There were 6 of us staying. The house was plenty big for us, the rooms were nice and we had everything we needed. The deck spaces were a plus and we enjoyed them. The walk to the beach was as advertised...less than a minute on a private path. There were great restaurants and shopping all in walking distance. We hardly drove at all outside of our work function. It would be a location we would stay at again. And the sunsets were amazing, as expected.

Great place to stay
Loved the house but outside patio and roof top and deck furniture really needs updated. Couldn’t enjoy deck or rooftop because very old furniture falling apart. Pictures of pool needs updated, waterfall in pictures does not work. And the temperature to leave the house while staying is to hot for anyone 75 degrees not a good sleeping temperature.

House is in the perfect proximity to the beach as well as the town itself! Views from upper 2 floors including the roof top deck are beautiful. But, as previous reviews stated, the house needs updating inside and out! The chairs on the decks are dated/worn, the "beach" chairs provided are rusted out/falling apart (we bought our own sadly). The stair cases are definitely a challenge (think suitcases up and down). The signage everywhere are excessive and not necessary to the average intelligent person??

Very musty old smell with old outdated furniture. Had an unforgettable bad moment with the parking, including tickets and being harassed by the other tenants behind us. Still part of the owner’s house we brought the harassment up to him and there was NO reply to the comment. BAD EXPERIENCE ALL TOGETHER.

Nice Property but TERRIBLE local management-owner
Were told the property was OK after hurricane Irma. Arrived with $300 of perishable food for the weekend and was told there was no power. Local residents told us there had been no power all week. Was promised power would be on by 4pm, then 8pm...power never came on. Group of 8 people was asked to deal with interior temps > 85 degrees. The local contact can not be trusted as we were repeatedly mislead and lied to. On a positive note the property could have been amazing had we got to use it.

Negative 17 stars. Worst hospitality experience of my life. Read before booking! Place smelled horribly like urine upon arrival. And not just like a kids bathroom. The main living area and kitchen smelled like someone had just urinated on the couch and kitchen floor. I have a weak sense of smell and it was still very strong. It seems likely they would have had someone check or clean the place between guests. If they did, they passed the place to us knowing the significant issue. If they didn't...why didn't they? Still, I get it that things sometimes go wrong, but what really should concern you if you are looking to book is the complete lack of professionalism in attempting to get my issue handled. DO NOT EXPECT QUALITY SUPPORT. No apology for upending our trip in a significant way. No attempt to make things right (that I could see). No responses to any attempts at communication! Upon arrival, we called the host, who was rude and dismissive. "Does it smell like urine everywhere?" Not the point. The host said they would send extra cleaning that first night. We had to find another place to stay at the last minute. The next day I asked for a refund via the VRBO chat. No response. The place still smelled very badly like urine. I asked for a full refund via the VRBO chat. No response. I tried doing the VRBO support on day 3, but my mobile signal was not connecting reliably, so the chats kept timing out. 5 days after check in date (we only had 3 nights booked, so I'm now home), still no response! I call VRBO. They put me on the phone with the management agency who says they will talk to the owner and get back to me via email. That was about 5 or 6 days ago. Still no response. And I've followed up with them twice by email and I tried to call once. It is 10 days since check in date and still no responses! So, I had to spend 85 minutes on the phone with the bank to file a dispute with my credit card company.

Great house, great location!
We celebrated my moms birthday so we invited some family and brought all the kids together. This house was absolutely perfect. It is well kept, has plenty of living area and places to sleep, the kitchen is very organized with labels on all cabinet doors which made it so much easier to get what we needed. Everyday we walked right up to the beach, then walked to restaurants and bars or even to convenience stores. Everyone had such an unforgettable time we will definitely come back!!! Oh and the host was very responsive we had a clog in the right sink and he came right over to fix it.

WhiteSand House right on the beach
This house was a pleasant surprise and perfect place to stay for a weekend at the beach. It was steps away from the beach access and had so much charm and character. Very clean linens and bath/beach towels, well stocked kitchen, a great outdoor seating area and balconies each floor with beach views. A huge deck with beach view in the 2nd floor and 360 degrees beach views from top deck where you can watch a beautiful sunset! We had a great time!
