Bahia Vista - Isla Del Sol - meaning Island of the Sun, is an island community on a tropical barrier island surrounded by Boca Ciega Bay and nestled between the southernmost tip of St Petersburg and St Pete Beach, Florida. This island community has many different condo neighborhoods each with beautiful tropical landscaping, heated pools, spas, clubhouses, some with private beaches and water views everywhere you look. Biking and walking trails will take you from your condo to the Shopper's Village and around the golf course of the private Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club.

'The Island' is just minutes from the warm, turquoise waters and the many beaches of the Gulf of Mexico, Fort DeSoto Park and Fort DeSoto's North Beach, voted one of America's top beaches. The master bedroom has an ensuite completely renovated bathroom with double vanity.  The master bedroom has a king-size bed as well as a desk if you need to work while you are visiting. The guest bedroom has a completely renovated bathroom attached as well! This bedroom has 2 brand-new twin beds (2017).  Unit 309 also has a full-size washer and dryer in a separate laundry room making this unit a complete home away from home.

Sit out on the balcony and watch the sunset with your favorite drink or enjoy the beautiful wildlife in the waters or on land while enjoying the morning air. These units are well known to see dolphins playing in the bay water and boats cruising the waters as well as birds and bunny rabbits that are protected. You can access the balcony off of the living room or the master bedroom. Be sure to take time to enjoy the large pool and hot tub. 7-day minimum, Saturday arrival, and Saturday departure during peak season.

• Keep balconies and walkways clear. No towels, clothing, umbrellas or other items are to be hung from railings or balconies.
• Barbecuing or grilling on balconies is allowed with an electric grill ONLY.
• Do not feed seagulls from the property.
• Park in assigned space for your unit. All vehicles must have parking permits displayed. Vehicles without a parking permit displayed are subject to towing at renters expense.
• Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during the hours of 11pm -8am. This is a private condominium or home and there are year round occupants that live in the building. While you are on vacation, they may not be.
• All trash is to be bagged and placed in garbage chute or proper containers.
• Cars must be pulled into the parking space as normal. No backing into parking spaces.

Beautiful condo convenient to beaches, shopping and restaurants
The condo is beautifully decorated, updated and clean. It is over the bridge from St. Pete Beach on the bay. The views are very nice. It is located on a golf course. Only complaint is there was construction on the building next to us and drilling, hammering etc started at 8:00 a.m. and went on all day. This should be a time limited issue. Otherwise, highly recommend this property.

It was being painted
We arrived from Boston only to find that the outside of building that our unit is in was in the process of being painted. All of the windows were covered with white plastic so we couldn’t see out and there was an employee on our deck. The management company was fantastic, they quickly found us another unit on the eighth floor of another building and it was great. The island itself is beautiful, very safe and in close proximity to the beaches etc.

The property was nice. Communication with the rental agent was a problem. They neglected to get us a parking pass and we were cited by Isla security. Also there was no blue book . We asked to have the entry way light bulb replaced since it was dark at night and difficult to unlock the door and that never happened.

I thought other than a major ant infestation this was a nice place until checkout day.
First of all the condo itself is great very homey and the grounds are lovely but don’t mistake a water view for the ocean it’s a bay view. There is a severe ant problem inside outside on balcony even in the bed. But as we were packing up to leave I seen why it’s infested. House keeping showed up before we were finished so they went ahead and started. It absolutely blew my mind when I watched them only make the beds. We stayed for a week and housekeeping didn’t wash or change the bed clothes only made the beds. So then I thought oh my god we probably slept on dirty used bed clothes to. So if housekeeping is too lazy to clean the bed clothes then it’s no wonder the place was infested with ants. My suggestion would be wash them yourself before you sleep on them wish I would have

What a relaxing stay! The condo was clean with plenty of room. It was well equipped. The view was spectacular over- seeing the pool and inter coastal waterway. The pool area was well- maintained as were the grounds. We are coming back in 2019!!

Loved our stay at Isla. We were a party of 5 and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed and the perfect size. The view was awesome! We couldn’t have enjoyed out stay more!

My family and had a wonderful time staying in Isla del sol. The condo was in great shape and very spacious with a great layout.
