Breathtaking Views from Sapphire Village II

Enjoy our studio unit located in Sapphire Village Condominium development! Our unit is smoke-free, pet-free, full air conditioned (brand new spit a/c unit), and offers breathtaking views of neighboring USVI and BVI. New king bed Sept 2023.

You will have access to the pools on property, a BBQ, coin laundry located near management office, and steps away from Sapphire Beach. There is parking available directly in front of the unit.

You will certainly enjoy the restaurant on property that is under new management! There isn't a bad thing on the menu... it's way more than just wonderful pizza. On Sapphire Beach, there are opportunities to rent beach equipment and enjoy beach/water activities, at an additional cost, as well as a yogurt/coffee shop and a bar and restaurant.

Destination Wedding
We were here for a friend's wedding and this location was perfect. The room was clean, had a small kitchenette to cook/make coffee in, there were even some beach amenities to use (towels, beach chairs, a small cooler). Communication with the host was very easy and quick, and with 2 pools, the beach, and a few walkable restaurants it was very convenient, would definitely recommend this spot!

We arrived and the front door was open and unlocked. At first, it looked like the cleaning staff just left the location uncleaned, but it was just a bit messy. Storage closets was open and furniture were scattered throughout the location. The AC worked great. Bed was comfortable. Restaurants and bar was In walking distance. Location could use a touch up. Overall it was a decent place.

Cozy place to stay
We were looking mainly for a place to sleep and clean up and this worked great for us at a budget friendly cost. Down the road from Sapphire Beach, comfortable bed and roomy shower. Gated community with friendly staff. Kitchen area a bit cramped, but works for the basics. Would recommend more places to hang things (like towels, bathing suits).

Honeymoon and wedding getaway
This property was perfect for our needs. It is a simple property. We mostly used it just as a place to sleep, and clean up. The bed was very comfortable. There is a wonderful view from the balcony. It is quite the trek up the hillside to get to this area of the village, but that didn’t brother us. There is also a cute pool, steps away from the condo unit, it has an awesome view as well. Overall we’re happy with our stay.

We had a quick one day to extend our week. This unit was ok and was what I expected. To be fair we had just spent the week on St. John at a property where we had spent a little more in. So this was fine for what it was.

Great location
Really close to all amenities. Clean property and resort/beach/pools were very nice. On resort restaurants and bars are nice, but close a little early. Red Hook is real close by for great restaurants and night life. Prepare for a hike if you don't have a vehicle though, as the unit is at the highest point of the resort. Great leg workout.

What a view!!!
When flight plans changed, needed accommodations for one night. We found Mary to be excellent to work with. Thank you, Mary, for your efforts to make us comfortable. The view was spectacular. Location was also very quiet. Just what we needed after a long day of traveling.

Location is Key
Great location with easy access to Red Hook and Sapphire beach. The unit is small, and mostly functional for 2 people. We loved the balcony and the view, but on one night another tenant was throwing a party on their balcony (complete with loud music and glass breaking), so we didn't get to enjoy our balcony that evening.

Great views and great Beach!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The condo was the perfect size for the two of us. Coffee on the balcony with the amazing view was very relaxing each morning. The condo had everything we needed. Since the condo is on top of the hill it is nice and quiet. Red hook was just around the corner which has restaurants, shopping, and the ferry to St John. Sapphire beach next to the condo and was by far our favorite beach - even compared to some of St John’s beaches!

Sapphire Beach Review
Several thoughtful consideration on details for kitchen items including ice cube trays, garlic press, spices, etc. Also appreciated the beach chairs that were provided as we were able to take those with us to the various beaches and not rent chairs. Overall rental was clean, with the exception of the floor. When we got out of shower every day, by the time we got to the kitchen which is not that far, our feet were black. Found it tough to crawl into a bed with white sheets with dirty feet. Chalked it up to construction dirt, but believe that it may not have been cleaned with water. Swept, but not mopped, perhaps. While consideration was given for some things in the kitchen, it lacked in others, such as paper items. We were there 8 evenings and were given 3 rolls of toilet paper for two people, no paper toweling or napkins of any kind. We were also given four washcloths, two shower towels and one beach towel, each for the entire stay. There is a laundromat, but we would have had to purchase detergent. Also, the grill was out of propane, which we asked to be replaced, but it never was. We had to purchase charcoal/lighter fluid to make a couple of meals there. If you haven't been to this island, food and toiletries are VERY expensive. 4-pack of toilet paper and one roll of paper toweling was $11. Stick of butter $3.29; gallon of milk $5.00, etc. Beautiful area, but still recovering from hurricanes. Lots of construction going on. Chickens also start their morning routine about 4:00 a.m.

I really enjoyed my stay here, but I would have enjoyed it more if I had had commercial TV along with the ROKU tv. The bed was very comfortable. And I appreciated the beachtowels and the beach chairs. I just wish the beautiful ceramic tile floor had not been covered with paint spatters. Also, I would have appreciated a kitchen towel and dish rack. Drilling and hammering beginning at 7:30 am didn't bother me too much and I assume it won't go on forever. Access to Slice VI restaurant, pool and taxi/safari was really good.

The property was nice overall, and was maintained nicely.
Unfortunately the host of the property didn't tell me that the building was still under construction. I had to ask worker's to try to keep the noise down after 9pm. Then they were back 7:30 the next morning. I wouldn't have chose this particular property if I had known that drills and hammers were going to be my 7:30 wake up call.
