"Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the property. Room was very spacious and suitably equipped. I even had a balcony where I could sit out and enjoy the view from the hotels lofty location above the town. Breakfast was a good selection of continental offerings along with the option for fresh eggs. Staff were super helpful especially as my German is very limited."

"The staff was hospitable and kind. We paid in advance for breakfast to be included and it was nice, but options were limited. Be prepared to pack lightly because there are no elevators on the property, so you will have to carry your baggage up the steep stairs. Parking is extremely limited with only about 6 spaces for mid size vehicles. We did not dine in for dinner so my review will exclude evening meals. "

"Hotel Krone was just “ok”. I thought that the price was high for a ok hotel outside of tourist season (February). Hotel was nicely clean and comfortable. Arrived after 10 pm so had to make special arrangements to get key and find room but hotel was accommodating and helps to do this. "
