"Verden Hotel is located in the center of Lakselv, close to restaurants, shops, and services. This is why we chose the hotel. The room was small for $200 after taxes, and the charge for a second person. It’s comfortable enough, but not renovated. The service was fine, but not polished. The breakfast was good, and there is a restaurant, which one of the better ones in Lakselv. "

We booked partly because of the photos showing a jacuzzi, but it turned out this was only available for one specific cabin – something that wasn’t clearly explained. The lodge felt impersonal and lacked privacy, making it unsuitable for couples. We also didn’t eat at the restaurant because the prices were simply too high. Overall, not good value for the money unless you’re here strictly for skiing and just need a place to sleep.
