Staff extrelemy helpful and with recommendations for thigns to see and do in Dressau, like the Bauhaus Museum (the art and decor of the hotel were inspired by this). "Everything was fantastic! Large rooms with lots of space, huge bathroom with a tub, extremely comfortable bed, and free drinks! I only have 2 minor complaints. First is that housekeeping should NOT be trying to get in my room at 8am, that’s way too early considering that checkout is at 12 noon. Second is that there’s nobody at the reception desk until 1pm, I wanted to ask about staying another night but nobody was there. Overall, it was a really nice place in a great location. "

No air con or fan so room really quite hot at night - windows open meant heard a group of older folk sitting outside and talking loudly around 11.30pm (for quite some time!). Personal choice - would have liked a fridge and TV: appreciate the heritage but if there’s USB sockets, a few more modern amenities could be possible …Hotel in good location - easy walk to sites. At check inn, the innkeeper spoke only German ( no English). We communicated with difficulty via a phone translator.
