"The property is older but has been very well maintained. The room was impeccably clean, no smells or odors, everything was nice and not worn or sketchy. The place in incredibly quiet!! We barely heard any indication that there was anyone else staying there. The mattress was firm but comfortable. No complaints about the room. The down side, maybe, was the area surrounding the buildings was....old. Could use a little TLC. The "lake view" is quite limited but there is a lovely park less than 5 min away with great views and several beaches not too far away. No on-site dining but they do offer a 15% off coupon to one of two restaurants just two minutes away. Overall, very happy with our stay."
"Great little spot right on Hwy 50. Recently renovated with an incredibly comfy bed and soft sheets. A very convenient place to stop for the night with lovely seating areas by the river. As others have noted, not a lot of food options nearby so plan ahead."
