"We enjoyed our stay in this home! The pictures are accurate! Communication with the owners is good. Check in was simple. We were there in December and they had Christmas decorations up, even a tree! "The condo is in the perfect location! You can park and walk to everything in Gruene! The weather was rainy and cold so we did not get to enjoy the back porch with a river view but it would be very nice on another weekend. This was our annual girls trip - four 60 year old women. We felt safe there and loved that we didn't have to drive into town and fight for a parking spot. The beds were comfortable and the living room was very cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much."

A Mixed Review, but Recommend

"I booked one night for a birthday trip. I could have stayed in that comfy bed all day. I slept through the night and woke refreshed. The price was higher than what I usually pay, but I wanted to stay somewhere nice. The bottom floor, which was one of our main reasons for choosing this hotel because of the restaurant, bar and fountain, is construction, but they did a great job of checking people in quickly at a makeshift kiosk. I was disappointed that we barely had enough bath tissue for one night, and someone’s leftover garlic-smelling wings were still in the fridge. They smelled like they had been there awhile. I was glad to see they have both trash and recycling in the room. I still recommend this place for its convenient location and feeling of safety and relaxation, especially once they finish construction. "
