Mt. Nittany private getaway State College, PSU vacation rental

Located just 4 miles from Beaver Stadium and campus, this lovely 2-story home on 6.5 acres. Making your stay quiet and private with the convenience of being in State College. The home has great living spaces on a very private lot located right on Mount Nittany! Enjoy a close up view of Mount Nittany and maybe even decide to take a hike! Our back property line adjoins the Mount Nittany Conservancy blue trail. The newly renovated kitchen features new stainless steel appliances, as well as hardwood floors throughout. Downstairs living area was renovated to feature an open floor plan for gatherings. There are 4 bedrooms (1 queen, 2 fulls, 2 twins) with 2 full baths and 1 half bath, as well as multiple flat screen t.v.'s. We also have a large sectionsl sofa in main livingand two futons in second living area. Great for accommodating large groups and families for any event or occasion! Sleeps 13 which will be our max rental capacity.

Fantastic experience
Great accommodations for our large group. Property was beautiful and super convenient location for getting to BJC. Lots of amenities-- sad we never got to use fire pit/and yummy smores snacks that were provided...just ran out of time. we definitely want to stay again- so hopefully next trip! Spent a few days at this property. Nice quiet spot that is off the beaten path but it is still close to the downtown area and campus. Saw lots of wildlife on the property. It had all of the amenities that we needed. Enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful setting.
Very fortunate to find this gem. 8th grade basketball team competing in Pennsylvania State Tournament. Was a classic retreat with a beautiful view of the valley from the mountain. An incredibly fun set up for kids with land, basketball, trampoline, and Xbox set up. We experienced so much at this property and really bonded as a team. Couldn’t imagine it being more perfect.

A beautiful Oasis or relaxation!
We stayed 3 nights in this gorgeous house tucked away in the foothills of State College. It was very conveniently located to amenities such as restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations. But it felt like we were far removed from anything as this house sits on a massive sweeping property with plenty of places to sit outside amongst the grass and trees. The house was spacious and clean with very comfortable couches and recliners, large TVs, multiple gathering areas etc. I would stay here again in a heartbeat the next time we come to State College!

First thing you notice when you walk through the front door is a nice clean smell - professionally cleaners did a great job! This home is beautiful and fit our group of 12, with towels and linens for all. Well stocked kitchen and necessities. The owners had lots of nice touches for our stay. The location was perfect - close to the stadium and town but far enough away to enjoy the mountainside views, plus room for all our cars. Next time, we'll stay longer so we can enjoy a hike! Pictures could be updated - twin bedroom now has bunks and a twin, and one living room now has four single futons. Would not hesitant to book again! Thanks Jackie and Justin!

Perfect PSU Reunion Rental! Highly Recommend
I can't say enough about how much our group enjoyed our stay at the Ondik's home! We had a group of 11 young professionals back for a 5-year graduation reunion, and ended up spending more time at the house than planned because of how beautiful the set-up was. The property truly offers everything: a massive, spacious lawn where we enjoyed a football game, a comfortable back patio with very nice grill, large fire pit with tons of stocked wood in the front, walk-on access to the Blue Trail to hike Mt. Nittany, beautifully re-done interior with seating and TV's in almost every room! It couldn't have worked out better for our large group to have communal meals with more than enough space to relax in and outside. The property is completely private, and at the end of a scenic lane, but is just a 5-10 min drive from downtown and Uber-friendly to get to the restaurants / bars. We highly recommend this place for reunions, young adults, and families of all ages! Thanks Ondik's!!
