It would be hard to find a cozier getaway than this three-level, two-bedroom condo tucked into a tree-lined hillside. Start your tour on the middle level, which features the main living space. Get the gas fireplace start first thing for extra coziness, and step out onto your deck if the weather is nice to take in that lovely mountain view. Inside, the open plan fosters togetherness, so the chef can take advantage of the well-equipped kitchen, with a full suite of appliances and lovely stone countertops, and not miss a minute of the action. At mealtime, there’s seating at an adjacent dining table, or grab one of the three barstools at the breakfast bar. Around the corner you’ll find the first of two bedrooms; the second occupies the entire bottom floor for anyone looking for a bit more privacy. Upstairs in the loft you’ll find even more sleeping space on the queen sofa bed.
When it’s time to head out and explore, you’re spoiled for choice no matter the season. In the summer there’s sailing, hiking, horseback riding, fishing and more to keep you busy; in the winter you’re just minutes from Heavenly Mountain Resort. After a full day out exploring all Tahoe has to offer, return to your condo, turn on that gas fireplace, and get cozy once again.
