Friendly staff and great service at the hotel. Expedia booking was messed up and it took a while for the hotel staff to resolve this issue which is becoming more frequent and frustrating. Expedia need to do a better job as I won’t tolerate the lack of service from Expedia after booking.

Excellent breakfast (only missed smoked salmon). Easy walk to train station and touristic areas. On the negative side, the soap dispensers in the bathroom were broken and were not replaced even after my complaint. Had to use my own soap. And the room is a little outdated.

Outstanding service! We arrived at 12:45 hoping we could leave our baggage till the 3:00 check in time. Instead, our room was ready and we were able to check in early. Staff spoke excellent English. Room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was a perfect 10. We highly recommend this hotel that is only a 5 min walk from both train and bus station.

Very good property, very comfy room, superb breakfast buffet, friendly staff Two areas of opportunities but not deal breakers: 1. For long stays, the frequency of making a full cleaning of the room is not ideal (we stay 2 weeks) 2. Does not have room service and/or restaurant for dinners We definitively stay again in Scandic Stavanger Park, it is convenient, and a very good value for the money that we invest.

Maintenance improvement needed
Good location and nice staff but needs to improve maintenance, esp. cleaning. My room smelled terrible when I entered and I discovered leftover food in the refrigerator. Must have been there for more than 1 day to stink so bad. Still smelled after leaving all windows open for 4 hours... I was too tired to move again after the first room key did not work and the hotel sent me to another floor. Then the 2nd room door would not open and hotel staff had to come to open it for me. Then it would not lock! Finally fixed it but time was wasted
