"We stayed here while we were visiting the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. We arrived in the evening, after check-in time, so they left an envelope at the door with all the information to access our room. Everything was perfect and breakfast on both Saturday and Sunday mornings was amazing. We loved it."
"WOW! What a great experience. I planned a getaway for my parents 21st anniversary mom's birthday which featured this as their stay. They had a wonderful time! Ed, the innkeeper, collaborated with me in setting this up. He even purchased them locally baked pastries as a "birthday/anniversary" local fare gift. Wonderful experience, they said they want to visit Bryson City again, I know where they will be staying :)"
"All I can say is WOW. This property exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful views, modern beautiful cabin, delicious breakfast, amazing and kind host Melissa. If you are in the area and looking for an amazing and unforgettable stay this is the place. "
"I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT.
We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable.
The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They provided so much helpful information on local places to visit for after our hike.

"We really enjoyed our stay, the location was great and the cabin was comfortable, however the carpet in the bedrooms is pretty dated and stained. And the floor in the kitchen was sticky. All in all we enjoyed our stay and realize the difficulty of maintenance with multiple guest, so a different floor type could be considered besides carpet. "
"If you think of what a mountain cabin should look like, this cabin is it. The beautiful fall decorations and stocked so well, whatever you may have forgotten, the cabin has it. Great location for access to the Smoky Mountain Railroad, and all of western North Carolina. The views from both decks are phenomenal. The driveway is a little challenging (backing up) and a map showing an easy way out of the community (without having to do 6 point turns) would be super helpful! A perfect spot to enjoy...

Luxury Mountain Home with Hot Tub and Stunning Views
5/5 Excellent
Idyllic view with comforts of home
"This property is beautiful. We cooked dinners comfortably in the kitchen and we loved being able to fit our large party in one room around the table and bar. We enjoyed the hot tub, as well as several hiking and biking trails in a short drive down the mountain to the national park."

The communal glamping bathroom was the nicest bathroom I’ve ever seen at a campsite. A toilet is inside the bus only to be used during bad weather or at night for guest convenience.
The property is green and gorgeous, has a little creek on it. There is a grill under a gazebo and the hosts provide propane at no additional cost. We were able to grill hot dogs. The kids LOVED the bus.
Also the main house where you check in is STOCKED with little snacks, ice cream, food you can heat up, and other little conveniences available for purchase. All the other structures on the property are adorable!
For us the only potential issue was that the door locks on the inside, but unlocks easily with turning the knob. Totally fine if you have older kids or adults. If you have crazy toddlers there’s a potential escape hazard there. But we just barricaded the way out with our bags so it was fine.
I would stay there every night if we could! I hope we get to stay again. "
