"My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Chateau Yering Hotel which exceeded expectations. The room was large and beautiful with a huge double bath and views of the property. We sat in the Drawing Room in the afternoon and were offered Devonshire tea which was excellent. We then enjoyed a wine tasting at the nearby Yering Station (1 minute walk) and came back for happy hour drinks which were accompanied by historical tales of the place and amazing cocktails to match the era we spoke about by the open fire. Finally we finished the day with a delicious dinner at Eleanore’s Restaurant. "

"This was second time we stayed here. They upgraded our room to spa room because our standard room somehow not quite ready. The room quite old but what matters is clean and comfy. I did not expect much for the breakfast but actually was good. Definitely best value for money and will not hesitate to come back in the future."

"A Perfect Family Getaway at Balgownie Estate! We had a wonderful time staying at Balgownie Estate with our family. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and rolling hills — perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable for us and our kids. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We loved the on-site restaurant — the food was delicious, and they had great options for both adults and children. There were plenty of things to do nearby, including wineries, chocolate and cheese shops, and fun outdoor activities for the kids. We especially enjoyed the hot air balloon views in the morning and the stunning sunsets in the evening. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing Yarra Valley experience with a touch of luxury!"

"Room was extremely clean and had all the facilities required to make the stay enjoyable. Friendly staff and easy access to township, I certainly recommend this accommodation."

"We found check-in tedious and the staff member inefficient. He had to search for our key in a messy cluttered drawer. Reception area super messy and not professional or inviting. The room was spacious and clean but there was a large crack in the glass of the wardrobe door and the towel rail was hanging loose. Shower pressure and heat of water was amazing. We booked for 2 persons but obviously only one of us was meant to wash our hair as only 1 each tiny shampoo and conditioner was supplied. No biscuits as are usually supplied complimentary in even the most economy motel.Spare blanket was old and worn. Good supply of kitchen cleaning supplies left. The whole room while clean and spacious was tired and dated with a few recent additions like a new toilet and sink but the general feel was tired. "
