"This hotel was very, very nice. Definitely upscale but historical. The room was so nice and the very clean. This is my favorite hotel we stayed in while we were traveling in Germany. One plus was you can park right in front. Parking was a big issue at a lot of hotels in Germany. The restaurant was fantastic. Some of the best German food I had in Germany."

"The Rangof is actually in the village of Elpersdorf about 5 minutes drive from Ansbach proper. It is so nice and peaceful, very relaxing. It was quite warm while we were there and there is no air condition. No ice machine. No elevator/lift if you have limited mobility. Aside from that, the restaurant serves up some tasty traditional German food and beer. Outdoor cafe style dining was also a plus with the exceptional weather.
