"It was spotlessly clean and we had a very warm welcome from Liz, the owner. I must admit , she goes the extra mile when it comes to make us comfortable. The breakfasts are extra special. She makes the bread herself and also makes the marmalade. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Liongate B&B"

"Having read a few previous reviews wasn’t sure what to expect. Some said stairs were awful. Both me and my wife found the stairs fine. But anyone with restricted mobility may struggle. . Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast voucher in room to be used at local pub. Voucher value is £15pp. Full breakfast is £13.95. Then drinks are extra. So you end up paying a bit extra which isn’t made clear when you book. There are cheaper options on menu though. "

"We have stayed at Mullions about five times now. It’s ideal for Clark’s village and the town. A typical English house pub, with lovely accommodation and the staff are so welcoming. Plus the food is great. Thanks for another great visit. "

Girlie weekend

"The property was absolutely lovely! The grounds were beautiful. The little food package left was a nice touch! The beds were super comfy. 1 bathroom between 8 people was a little tricky but we made it work note; master bedroom does have an ensuite though so technically it's 2 bathrooms. There is also a toilet downstairs. The cinema room was cute and the lounge was plenty big enough for us to play games in and have a little dance! We absolutely loved the little boat outside which a few of us went on. Communication was fine, able to check in early, although we didn't meet the owner we werent bothered as our stay was all okay. Super quiet area and the views out of the bedrooms are beautiful. Will definitely recommend to friends and family! "

Perfect for a family group stay

"We stayed here as a large family group for a long weekend whilst attending a wedding in Sparkford. It was perfect for our needs, with a fabulous hot tub and lovely clean rooms. As the listing suggests is it small/low ceilings upstairs but as we had children in the room of singles it wasn't a problem for us, though that room wouldn't suit tall adults! The setting is up a rural country lane in a pretty farm setting with interesting animals like Emu's and chickens lining the driveway up to the house which the children enjoyed saying hello to. Although we weren't home that much as attending a weekend long wedding it was lovely to return here at the end of each day/night and chill in the hot tub and enjoy the garden space. The house and the surrounding area was pretty and peaceful and I would certainly consider returning again sometime. The owner also left a wonderful welcome hamper which was very generous."

"Lovely little place. A couple of minor things would improve the stay. More toilet rolls are needed. More tea bags on arrival also. Basic condiments would be helpful. Hot tub was in need of a bit more cleaning and heat. Sofa and chair a bit tired and saggy. Hot tub rota needs to be made obvious at time of bookiing."
