"Ein wahres Naturjuwel in Alleinlage. Perfekt zum Entspannen und durch die Nähe zum Stausee ist das Abenteuer nicht weit entfernt. Gut ausgestattet und sauber. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen."

If you don’t mind walking about 10-15 minutes, you can get to some of the main streets with lots of shopping and restaurants, and even to the main plaza (Hauptplatz). "Our stay was perfect! Our kids (8,6 and 4) had a blast with all the animals - Guinea pigs, bunnies, new kittens. Anita was a fantastic hostess. She always had suggestions for us of things to do in the area. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. It was such a relaxing and lovely place. A fantastic swing on the top of the hillside, a pool overlooking the valley. They even built a fire for us one night. The history of the house is amazing. "I have stayed at this property multiple times and overall I would say I am a big fan. The rooms are spacious with a living room area and a bed along with a big shower area. The only issues I have faced with this property is it is difficult to find street parking and all the times I stayed there I had issues with the internet in my room as I was working from there"

"Hütte selber war gut, urig und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Terrasse klein, Garten auch sehr klein und teilweise etwas ungepflegt. Daher spielt sich das ganze Leben eigentlich auf der Terrasse ab, für 3 Leute ok, für 6 Leute stell ich mir das ganze (auch die Hütte selbst) etwas sportlich vor. Lage ganz ok, man muss aber immer fahren (auch zum Wandern), keine Wanderwege in direkter Umgebung. Aussicht auch ok, wer aber das mega. Alpenpanorama oder Almwiesen erwartet ist hier falsch....

"This is a very nice hotel. Check-in was simple; we could choose online or in person at the 24hr reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was lovely and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. We appreciated the fridge and coffee machine. The highlight was the exceptional breakfast, which we enjoyed every morning. The hotel itself is within walking distance from the main train station - we had wheelie luggage and it took about 20 minutes. The "shopping centre" that is next to the hotel is just a hairdresser, an eatery and a bar/restaurant. There are much better shopping options a little further away, but still nearby. There are two Hofer/ALDI stores and a couple of SPARs and a Lidl for snacks etc. The walking streets are nice but beyond that, the city has quite a lot of traffic and heavy industry and you can see pollution belching from the factories. The Danube is nearby and the tram stop that goes to Postlingberg is close (well worth a visit!). Overall, the hotel is nice and the surrounding streets are worth visiting, other than that, we would not return to Linz itself as there is not much to do. "
