"The room was beautiful. One of the reasons we chose to upgrade was for the roll top bath but the bathroom was really cold. The whole room was pretty cold but the bathroom floor was very cold. We were due to get robes and slippers but only had 1 pair so had to share. Im assuming it's cold due to the windows being old with them wanting to keep with the traditional feel but you shouldn't feel too cold to get changed when you're staying in a nice hotel. "Lovely weekend break in a lovely hotel. The staff were very pleasant and efficient, room was spacious, comfortable, homely and clean. Everything we needed was provided in the room. We had breakfast for which we booked a slot the day before. We were 10 minutes late and there was no space for us in the main dining area but we were seated in a side room opening onto the main area, which we didn’t mind at all as it was pleasant . All in all a lovely stay, we would definitely return "
