The room was tiny, there was no fridge, towels were poor quality, the air conditioning didn’t work, the breakfast was very average. The room was clean and well serviced, though the carpet needs a good wash. Overall a very average experience for the money. I won’t be back.

Hotel and room were lovely. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Wasn’t too sure on the soundproofing as could hear staff moving things in the corridor during night and also outside traffic/binmen.

The stars and service question and rating are subtly skewed as the hotel itself the staff was phenomenal and top tier. However, the restaurant staff on property for Luciano by Gino D’Acampo was utterly horrendous, waited 45 minutes for water refills and only received because I got up to ask for them, not much was done at all about the issue other then restaurant management making excuse of being short staffed, but she couldn’t be bothered to check on us or anyone else knowing that? We received a 20% discount upon checkout and lodging a more formal complaint in the lobby. We had reservations for two months and made it our last meal in the UK and couldn’t had been more disappointed or let down. The hotel nice, their restaurants, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Lovely room, staff were friendly

The Sea Containers hotel is in an amazing area, has good amenities. This is my second stay within one year. Some of the staff could use better training. Felt like I had to beg for the Expedia VIP benefits upon check in and none of them materialized. I was promised a call when my room was ready and that never happened. Luggage storage went without a hitch on both counts. The concierge team was very helpful and friendly. I don’t want to ding the overall rating based on a few poor interactions upon check in and would still return.
