Fantastic property. The cottage was amazing and absolutely spotless .We could not have asked for more, local pub (three doors away) plus lots of walks nearby. Our host could not have been more helpful.I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage for long or short stay .
The cottage was absolutely lovely and had everything we needed, even milk, bread & jam! Conveniently located to Stirling and lovely drives to surrounding villages. David was so helpful and gave us some great tips...park & ride tram to Edinburgh was so easy! Would definitely recommend!
Had a great time staying at the cottage. The location is brilliant for exploring the area, with Sterling only 10 minutes away by car.
The cottage itself was very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. Lovely garden for sitting out in the evenings. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely well equipped cottage in a beautiful village. near to Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs for days out. David the owner is very helpful and easy to contact.
We had a great 3 days and hope to visit again
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at David’s lovely cottage.we lacked for nothing. David has outfitted the cottage with everything one could need.
The location was central to Edinburgh, Stirling & Glasgow.
Thanks to David we availed ourselves of the tram & bus to venture to Edinburgh & Glasgow.
Would definitely recommend this cottage.
We were able to visit several areas well known and not so well known from this location. The cottage itself was immaculate and so well appointed with anything that you might need. The host meet us at check in and went over everything and answered our questions. He also sent us some very helpful information about local restaurants and sights to see. We hope to be able to visit again!
We stayed here for a week and the cottage is home from home. David met us to show us around the cottage then left us to it.
Everything was comfy, bed, couches, kitchen VERY well stocked, lovely garden.
Villiage is lovely and nice staff and food at The Gargunnock Inn which is couple of doors away.
Cottage was the perfect base to explore some of Scotland.
Would 100% recommend and return.
We loved being immersed in a very friendly village, but so near to so many points of interest. Good dining treadily available or stay in with a great kitchen. Our host, David, was very attentine to communication and very helpful with information about both sites and use of the cottage. We would definitely come back!
Delightful, beautifully decorated cosy cottage, just a short drive to Stirling centre.
David greeted us and gave us all the necessary info. The photo on the website is actually taken from the garden at the back which was amusing but David's directions were perfect. A generous welcome pack was provided. The cottage is very tastefully decorated, well equipped and cosy. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the bath/shower was too high for my 82 year old mother to get into but the added bonus was The Gargunnock Inn, a wonderfully friendly gastro pub next door.
We couldn't have asked for a more magical place to stay than Moray Cottage. David met us at the door and was so gracious. The Cottage was squeaky clean, the beds were very comfortable as was the living room furniture. The kitchen was spacious and very well appointed. We had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the beautiful back yard. Like a fairy tale. Thank you David for sharing your place with us. If we ever come back or know someone who is traveling to that area we will definitely recommend this place.
Lovely cottage, full of character, very comfortable, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Everything you need to make your stay enjoyable is provided, with lots of local information and recommendations to help you make the most of your stay. Highly recommended.

We wanted for nothing more in the very clean Murray Cottage. The equipment is comprehensive and the furnishings are very tasteful. The AGA cooker is fantastic and the garden is enchanting. The nearby Gannuck Inn (three houses down) and the shopping facilities in Stirling made our stay perfect. The host is very friendly and accommodating. By far the best accommodation we have ever had! We would love to come back.
This sparkling cottage was a true pleasure to stay in. Comfortable beds.
Fully equipped kitchen. Bright bathroom. Lovely garden. Quaint town with a great pub/restaurant 3 doors down, and easy distance to all of the sights and activities in the Stirling area.
We loved the quality of the furniture, appliances and kitchen dishes and cookware.
Easy parking was such a luxury. Thank you David for sharing your lovely cottage!
Loved staying at Moray Cottage! Everything you could possibly need - in fact we didn’t have enough time to fully appreciate all the facilities. Would definitely return.
The property, furnishings and all of the little things supplied are simply excellent. They have gone the extra step to think of all of the little things that make it a home from home. No cutting corners in any way with this property. It also has a superb internet connection for those who need it. Would highly recommend it to people and I will stay there again if the situation arises. Thanks David.
Had a great stay here - the cottage is so well appointed, everything you need, in neat and logical places. The standard of the equipment on site is very high. Lots of plates, cutlery etc and a dishwasher in the house.
David is a great host meeting us and telling us about the cottage, how to work heating, cooker, wood burner etc - a list of instructions in the house as well. David also recommended some places to visit and to go for food.
Very handy for pub and local shop.
Overall a great stay
Lovely welcome from the owner who also kindly supplied a hospitality/welcome pack. Beautifully maintained property, well equipped in a lovely rural village ideal for exploring central Scotland. Good walks from the door and great local pub a few doors down!
Facilities and fittings were excellent, the garden and its condition were a bonus. Met by the owner on arrival who walked us through the cottage and explained the ‘ set up ‘.
