"Esk View Cottage is a fabulous base for exploring the Yorkshire Moors. Its location overlooking the river is stunning and the sound of the water very peaceful and relaxing. It is a 90 second walk from the NYMR station of Grosmont which we made great use of and the steam trains gave a really charming feel. Will definitely return. "

"Absolutely brilliant cottage. All new fixtures and fittings with everything you could need for your stay. The drains smell came and went- not sure where it came from and it didn’t really bother us. "Our weekend in this cottage was comfortable and cosy. There was plenty of space for the two of us and it would be excellent for families as there are two lounge areas, one very spacious on the top floor. We appreciated the efficient log burner and were provided with all the equipment we needed. The views were lovely with one side looking over a field with horses, alpacas and pheasants. Contact with the owner was excellent. A lovely place to stay."
