There are two bedrooms on top level which requires u to walk down steps to get to a bathroom which is also shared by another bedroom on main level. Main area and kitchen space could have been cleaner. Beds were very comfortable. We had 5 women on a girls trip. "

"We love this lake house! The area is convenient to everything but also secluded and so peaceful. It was the perfect home to relax in after a long day out exploring Acadia. I was able to cook a lot of our meals, laundry was easy to do and my kids loved the mini pool table. We would stay here again if we visited MDI again. The host was a great communicator and made the experience smooth. The house was clean and comfortable. "

"This cozy little cottage had the perfect location with a gorgeous view of my favorite garden in SWH and the harbor beyond. It is a very short walk to restaurants and shops. We loved having fires in the woodstove. The kitchen was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. We definitely want to stay again!"

"I can’t say enough about how much we loved this property. It has always been a bucket list item for me to go to MDI/Acadia and I was fortunate enough to save up enough and take my wife, parents and sister! "Absolutely loved being on Somes Pond in this home. Everything was wonderful - clean, spacious, linens and kitchen fully stocked. This is a peaceful location yet close to everything you want to do in Acadia and Bar Harbor. We definitely will be returning. Large home with plenty of space and spectacular view.
