"I've stayed at Ramada many times on work trips to Oxford. I advise choosing a room on the upper floor because on the ground floor you may hear stomping around late at night in the room overhead. There are also humming machines in a courtyard outside the ground floor windows - maybe that's the air heating system. In the room itself there's everything you need: clean shower room, white towels, free wifi, bedside lights, plug sockets, kettle with cups and tea bags etc. The bad reviews seem to come from people who expect a hotel. In fact it's a motel close to the M40 motorway and on the site of the Welcome Break services. I like its convenience, parking at £5 per night and lack of fuss. "

"Lovely hotel. Very clean and welcoming. The pool was great and breakfast was onenof the best we've ever had. Only improvement would be the kids' bed. The fold out bed was not very stable and dipped in the middle."
