"This Viking-themed hotel was charming. Our room was airy and bright with many windows. It had a balcony over the hot tub area and view. We enjoyed the hot tub and ability to walk a few steps to their larger restaurant. The food was ideal and our waitress very attentive to our needs. It make for pleasant meals at the end of long sightseeing days. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was tasty. "Overall it’s a good choice for our next visit. The bed is extremely comfortable and firm. The building and room are clean and quiet. The washer and dryer are clean and convenient. The cleaning lady was very kind to use her own phone to resolve our questions on the first day. You need to bring bath soap and cooking oil though. It would be helpful to have two towels for each guess instead of only one. "

"So this place was a good place to stay as we start our drive around the country. It's in the middle of nowhere (by beach though) but not scenic. The room is comfortable and clean. It's really quiet. The only downside is there was very limited hot water. My wife used it all up in a not very long shower. "

"The layout of the apartment is one of its strengths. It is a studio, but a wall separates the kitchen/bath area from the bed area. Parking was convenient, as were grocery stores. It is a fair distance from downtown Reykjavik, and having a car means we didn't have to investigate public transportation availability. The trash bins in the entry way were a bit off-putting, and the lighting, especially in the bathroom, could have done with a few more lumens. But overall it was a welcoming space."

"A very nice and clean apartment. A very kind family! I felt so sorry to wake them up at 1am as our flight arrived ~10pm and it took me some time to figure things out including the rental car. The couple is super nice amd welcomed us with smiles. Nice decorations. Big bathroom and good sized bedrooms. All are very clean. They also allowed me to use their washer and dryer which is important to moms. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, one is 5’6 and the other one is 5’4 and the beds worked totally...

"The room was not cleaned, old towels were hanging, there was no linen in one of the beds. We booked for 10 people, but there were actually 8 seats. The staff was arrogant, no one helped.The location was close to the beach, 10 minutes walk, but the house was somewhere behind the warehouse."
