"Reception staff were better than most and helpful with orientation to the area. They left the wine bar open a little later which accomodated a slight delay in my arrival. Area has a number of good restaurants towards the ocean and the beach is lovely. The open plain behind the hotel let's you take in the environment and northerly views of LA. Breakfast station was being set up as I left at 6:30am, but coffee was already out for early departures. Very nice stay. "

"This was a great find! Clean, cute, and comfortable room, and the hosts thought of everything in regards to the kitchenette! We had the King Suite, which was the perfect size for two of us. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was great, and the hosts were very welcoming. There are a million dining options close by, and we chose to Uber or drive (5 minutes) versus walking (15 - 20 minutes). The neighborhood was very quiet and it was easy to find parking. We definitely look forward to returning! "

"Overall impression of the apartment and location was positive. Close to grocery stores, food is walkable nearby, and it was great to have parking. Directions to and thru the parking garage by the host was spot on. Enjoyed the pool 2 evenings after long walking days of LA tourists. Very easy access to highways. "We were unable to find the property or reach Shaw Carter, the property manager (or whatever). We were stranded and Verbo found us a room at Best West. We cooked dinner and prepared breakfast but could easily have walked to so many cafe and restaurant options around us. Supermarkets around the corner and a gym and swimming pool nearby.
