The hotel is located in a nice area, very close to the lake and castle. Room is modern and wellness area is nice. The pity is about soundproofing. It can be quite noisy. We asked for a quiet room, but we got a room that was very close to the elevator.

Absolutely beautiful property, we came quite late but felt comfortable in the room and woke up to discover the wonderful lake and took a morning walk to see the wildlife and nature in the compound. A very clean hotel very luxurious rooms and just a very relaxing and low key feel.

A nice hotel with a good location if you are there to visit the castles. Good breakfast and service. But I would not recomend to stay there in summertime as there is no A/C and only 1 electric fan in the room. We did maximum get 2 hours sleep

The property and rooms are beautiful, the only criticisms is that the air conditioning was useless. Given the outside temperature was only 26c or so, the rooms were roasting hot and the tiny a/c unit totally ineffective. Would not return unless this was improved. Also the swimming pool was freezing despite being told that it was heated.

Ich hatte mich auf meinen Aufenthalt im Schlosshotel Monrepos gefreut, aber leider gab es einige Probleme, die meinen Komfort beeinträchtigt haben. Zimmer: Das Zimmer war viel zu kalt, selbst nach Anpassung der Temperatur ließ es sich nicht richtig aufwärmen. Bett: Sehr unbequem – in der Mitte eine spürbare Lücke, sodass ein erholsamer Schlaf kaum möglich war. Kissen: Extrem ungemütlich. Ich bin mit Nackenschmerzen aufgewacht. Dusche: Das Wasser aus der Dusche war durchgehend kochend heiß, ohne Möglichkeit, eine angenehme Temperatur einzustellen. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt leider enttäuschend, vor allem wegen der mangelnden Schlafqualität und dem unkomfortablen Badezimmer. Schade, denn die Lage und das Ambiente des Hotels haben durchaus Potenzial.

Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet - das große Bad ist ein Traum. Der Ausblick von den beiden Mini-Terrassen unseres Zimmers (es passt genau ein Stuhl darauf) zum Parkplatz nicht so schön. Die Klimaanlage des Zimmers braucht dringend eine Wartung, denn leider kühlt sie nicht wirklich - das Steuerelement ist hinter einem Vorhang versteckt gewesen u. selbst das Personal wusste nicht, wo es sich befindet ;D Beim Frühstück gab es keinen Platz für alle Gäste. Der halbe Frühstücksraum war reserviert für Gäste einer Veranstaltung am Abend zuvor - Diese Gesellschaft hätte man separat im Nebenraum platzieren können. Wir standen mit anderen Frühstücksgästen ratlos im Frühstücksraum u. an uns sind mindestens drei Mitarbeitende vorbeigelaufen, welche sich aber nicht für uns interessierten. Wir sprachen einen Mitarbeiter an u. er schickte uns in die Hotelbar. Die Atmosphäre dort war schrecklich - sie glich einer Bahnhofshalle, wo zig Leute hin und her liefen. Das Problem sprachen wir auch direkt an, leider war die Dame an der Rezeption kaum daran interessiert. Es erfolgte keine Entschuldigung oder vielleicht sogar eine kleine Entschädigung etc. Schade! Die Parkplatzsituation war katastrophal - “geworben” wird mit kostenlosen Parkplätzen vor der Tür. Dass diese aber niemals für alle Gäste ausreichen, wird nicht kommuniziert. Man könne ja “irgendwo auf dem Gelände parken” u. einen Spaziergang zum Hotel machen - Danke. Da erwarte ich von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel wirklich etwas anderes.

Es gibt Verbesserungspotenzial im Service
Die Dame am Empfang hätre ruhig etwas freundlicher sein können. Es warvals fühlte sie sich bei jeder Frage angegriffen. Deren Formular war falsch ausgefüllt. Nach Hinweis reagierte sie nicht sehr professionnel. Der Kellner an der Bar verstand fast kein Deutsch und brachte 2 mal unbestellte/inkorrekte Getränke. Schade. So ein Schloss sollte schon einen besseren Standard haben. Alles andere war gut. Die Suite war super, nur viel zu wenig Licht. Eine Suite mit Couch und Sitzecke sollte anständiges Licht haben. Lesen konnte man leider mit solch einem dämmerlicht nicht. Schade. Danke für den Rest

Tolle Lage, „altbacken“ renovierte Zimmer.
Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön, man braucht aber ein Auto. Die Renovierung im Frühjahr 2024 halte ich nur für teilweise gelungen. Bad/Dusche zu dunkel, Die Wandverkleidung mit Holzpaneelen bietet dem Staub viele Ablageflächen und zwei Mini-Knopf-Kleiderhaken sind zu wenig. Architekt hätte die Gäste fragen sollen.

Was macht dieses Hotel so besonders? Es sind die Mitarbeiter, die es immer wieder schaffen, den Gästen ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zu zaubern! Von der Rezeption, über das Team von der Bar, bis hin zur Frühstücksmannschaft, alle sind super sympathisch und motiviert! Daher ist es für mich als Stammgast erschreckend, weshalb es eine Flut von Mitarbeiterkündigungen gegeben hat. Die Mitarbeiter machen das Monrepos zu einem Platz der Erholung und guten Laune, daher sollte die Geschäftsleitung, diese Flut an Abgängen, zu denken geben.

Das Monrepos ist immer einen Aufenthalt wert
Ein sehr angenehmes und unaufdringliches Hotel mit viel persönlichem Charme. Alle Angestellten , beginnend beim Empfang über den Service im Restaurant / Frühstück, aber auch der Roomservice lassen das Erlebnis Monrepos als was Besonderes erscheinen. Selbst das nette Lächeln am Empfang beim regelmäßigen Check in als Stammgast ist nicht aufgesetzt 😊.
