"the house was exactly as advertised. Delta airlines cancelled our flights for three straight days so we were unable to fly as originally planned to Lake Tahoe for a family vacation. In a mad scramble to salvage a vacation, we chose this listing to have some time together as a family and enjoy our time together. had beautiful views of the lake, each of us had a lovely bedroom with our own dedicated bathroom which was perfect for 5 adults. the kitchen was nice and open allowing us to cook together and share meals. we loved trying our the blacktops grill for our steaks (may be buying one for christmas) and h th e smoker / grill combo. They made for tasty steak and chicken dinners. the only downside was the 20 min drive to the marina. the weather was "

"We had a great stay at "Break Away" last week. It is a stunning property that presents itself exactly as pictured in the ad. The location is fantastic and the host (Chris) is super responsive and attentive to guest needs. I especially appreciate the way he accommodated a special request that was important to our family. A bit more about the property. New, modern home in a gated neighborhood with the best view I've ever seen on Norris Lake. The moment you open the front door your breath will be taken away... the 180 degree view is THAT good. We loved the ice machine, tv's, fast wifi, outdoor grill, hot tub, extra fridges, etc. Let's talk boat logistics. The road leading to Break Away is paved and well maintained. Getting our 25' boat to the house was stress free. The driveway at the house is unusually flat for a home on Norris Lake. We were able to back our boat into the driveway, and we stored our trailer in the driveway all week (in addition to two other cars). The neighborhood has its own private boat ramp, which is paved and well maintained. We had no issues getting our boat in and out of the water. And the boat ramp is just a few hundred yards from the dock. The dock itself is new and has two slips (no lifts). Bring plenty of dock lines and fenders / inflatable balls to protect your boat when tied up (the channel can get busy). A bit more about the location. Being so close to Sugar Hollow Marina + Jumping Bridge was great for the family. We will be back!"

"For my daughter 16th birthday we took her and five of her friends. They had the best time and the house was set up amazing. This house has everything you need and is so beautiful. The dock is really nice and has a diving board. You can launch your boat just a few minutes away inside the gated community. We were able to Store Our trailer there. We enjoyed boating up to the tiki hut! And we did her 16th birthday at Shanghai. The atmosphere was amazing. Lots of open space to tube and boat close to the property. The girls enjoyed using the large hot tub and roasting marshmallows by the lake. There are lots of porches and they provide blankets and beach towels. Everything was Nice and spacious The driveway is quite steep and I was glad they had parking on the top of the hill for one larger vehicle and too small. This property was a 10 out of 10, but the driveway is a beast! We will definitely be back."
