"This was the perfect location for a family when our goal was to go for skiing. It was a 5 minute drive which meant we could just drop and pickup the skiers. The two bedroom and two bath was huge and perfect for a family of 4. My favorite part was that it felt like staying at a home rental with the convenience of a hotel. A check in/check out desk, community room, large property with amenities. "

"Thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The view was amazing. Comfortable for the two of us. Kitchen was great and well equipped which I was not expecting. Furniture is great condition. Bed was great. I have a bad back and no issues with sleeping. Everything was clean when we arrived. Love the fireplace as it was a cold/blustery weekend - winds howling. Skiing convenient even though my husband didn't get to go as he got sick the one day the weather was good to go. Definitely would love to come back to this place again. Deck was nice. Would love to enjoy it more in the spring/summer time. Owners obviously take great care of the place. A for me."

"The apartment was just as described and it worked perfect for our family of 4. The view of the slopes is super nice and we didn't have issues with the shuttle at all. It actually was pretty fast to get up or down to the parking lot. The pool, sauna, hot tub were perfect for the after activities to relax and unwind. Perfect ski weekend!!!! "

"I’ve stayed at Sugar Top before, and this unit had the best views so far!Check-in was a breeze at the front desk—much more convenient than having to pick up keys off-site, as I’ve had to in the past. The property was clean, well-maintained, and updated, with great communication throughout. Excellent value for the price!It also seems like building management has improved since last year. The gym was noticeably cleaner, and the shuttle from the parking lot ran efficiently.Overall, a wonderful experience—I’d definitely stay here again!"

"We enjoyed a long weekend getaway for 2 nights. The property was wonderful- clean, plenty of space for 4 adults and our 15-yr.-old son to stretch out and relax/chill, and nicely decorated. The spiral staircase to the bottom floor took some getting used to, but, with caution, we made it. We celebrated 2 birthdays at The Speckled Trout in Blowing Rock. After checkout on Monday, we parked at Sugar’s base and spent the day skiing. The only negatives: the mattresses were a bit too soft for our liking, and there was no firewood outside for the fireplace. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay. Overall, the house suited our needs and we’re looking forward to coming again."
