Highly recommended
Beautiful hotel resort. Bit out of town but if you want a peaceful place to stay i would recommend sterling. A well kept resort with good bedrooms , a superb dining area with well trained staff.I went bird watching one morning with the bird expert from the resort. He was well informed about all the birds in the area. Really enjoyed the early morning walk looking for birds with him.

Dining options are very limited. Service was super slow. It seems the restaurant is highly understaffed.
In room service was was also not available.
Overall it was an average experience. Definitely a lot of scope of improvement in room-service and dining facilities for the property.

We loved this property. The staff are friendly and helpful although English is limited. Chef Riyas came to chat with us, offered to make us whatever we wished, and even made a birthday cake for my wife. Food was excellent. The massage therapists, Juni and Raji proved to be extraordinary practitioners - don’t leave here without having a massage.
We also had the privilege of walking with the naturalist Soji on an early morning bird watching walk through the forest alongside the wildlife sanctuary.
Ridwij, the dining room Manager greeted us and gave us a tour of the dining room, food availability, and made us feel welcome. If you are in the Sultan Bathery area, don’t miss Sterling Wayanad
