Family Friendly True Log Home experience

Experience a genuine ski lodge feel in this ski-in chalet log cabin located on one of the largest properties in Sun Peaks village, just steps from the main chairlift area and vibrancy of 'Canada's second largest Alpine Village', this main floor entry home exudes special warmth and character unique to log construction. You will be drawn into the bright, open living area featuring hardwood floors, vaulted ceiling, large kitchen and eatery bar, floor-to-ceiling cozy, river rock gas fireplace and soaring windows where you can soak in beautiful mountain views.
You will enjoy the 3 levels with 3 bedrooms and loft; on the lower floor common bunk area and a two piece bathroom, perfect for sleeping up to 6 children.
The multiple sundecks and expansive veranda provide a true tranquil setting for family and guests. After a day of skiing, mountain biking, golfing or hiking, relax in the private outdoor hot tub, nestled in the trees with a view to the stars.

Our cabin is in a residential area with full time home owners in the area that must be respected, our cabin is designed to attract families with children
The lodge features a seven person hot tub, 2 1/2 bathrooms, full kitchen with jenn-air stove, laundry facilities, linen and towels, gas fireplace, high speed internet, blue ray player, stereo.
This chalet is for mature groups and families only; this is not a party house

60th Birthday Celebration
Overall we were quite impressed with the layout of the house. We felt welcomed when we entered the house with the Christmas tree by the fireplace and other simple Christmas decorations. The large dining room table allowed all 8 of us to sit and enjoy our meals together. The kitchen was well equipped for what we needed for our meals. We were thankful for the large "boot area" with places to hang up jackets, benches to sit on, places for our skis etc. Of course we enjoyed most of the evenings relaxing in the hot tub.

Myself and my extended family (8 adults and 4 children) stayed at this cabin for 3 nights. We had a wonderful time during our stay. There was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably and our favourite part was the open concept of the dining and living spaces. In addition the large dinner table allowed us all to enjoy our meals together. Upon arrival, unfortunately one of the bathrooms was not fully cleaned and one of the toilets was left unflushed and stained. During our stay the hot tub was also serviced, without any notice. And the serviceman knocked quite loudly on the basement door where the children were napping. Would have been nice to know their tub would bee serviced, so we could expect someone - but also, they could have used the front door to get our attention as it was a hose bib that they were looking for. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would return for another stay!

Summer at Sun Peaks
Excellent space to accommodate our three households of grandparents, two adult children with their spouses and three grandchildren. Good location at the base of the mountain and a short walk into the village of Sun Peaks. Kitchen was well equipped, and lots of sitting space. Our family would definitely return to this accommodation in the future.

We can’t wait to come back as this home was perfect for a family/friend bike vacation. Bedrooms sleeping space was perfect and the kitchen living room were excellent for socializing after a long day of biking. The layout of the home is great and the kitchen was fully stocked and then some! Hot tub was checked daily.

It was advertised as 4 bedroom 2.5 baths 33 pictures on the site . We get there there is a tenant in the lower level. We have upper level and main level. We only get 3 bedrooms and 2 futons in open loft area and 2 baths. Had we known would have rented elsewhere. Only learned of tenant when we got key code. I have communicated with the host. What was pictured on site was less than we were able to access.

Cabin getaway
Lovely rustic cabin feel with lots of room to accommodate everyone. Wrap around deck is wonderful to relax on after a day on the hill before hitting the hot tub. Main room sofas could use updating and upper bedrooms would benefit from screens on the balcony doors but overall great place to stay!
