"Seems like a nice hotel with good spa facilities. We had a non smoking room, but it stank of cigarettes and the bathroom smelt unclean. The hotel staff didn’t speak any English (I no we were in Germany but basic pleasantries would have been nice) so don’t expect any help. "Check-in simple/professionnal, but not warm neither smiling. Room are small but very clean. Small building so we felt like family hotel. Reception at the spa is the same: quick explanations, we had the impression to catch a train instead of being welcomed to a wellness spa (a smile with a sweet voice would be a plus for the 500€ we spent during 1day+1night, even during rush hours). "Really nice hotel with a good choice at breakfast. Secure parking was at a cost of €3.50 a day. I did think that i had already paid for parking in the option chosen when booking but the lady at reception said that it was incorrect on Hotels.com. We stayed on a Monday night and there were hardly any places to eat that were open at teatime, I'm sure on a Friday or Saturday night though there would have been a larger choice. Would stay again."

"Lovely hotel. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt a little put out at our treatment or lack of in the hotel restaurant. We were the only brits in a room full of Germans and French. Every single other table were brought a basket of bread whilst waiting for their food and given a free dessert at the end of their meal, even if they’d already had a dessert like we had. It unfortunately marred my stay a little. "
