"It was amazing to be able to step right out of the hotel onto the trails. The big lobby, main seating area was also a great place to hang out, though it got a little crowded at times. It was nice to have dining options, from the reasonabl-priced cafe to the more expensive buffet. "We enjoyed our stay - very quiet, wooded location with easy accessibility to Rainier, White Pass, and Packwood. Access was straightforward. We had a 28 foot trailer and needed to back in - turning through the U would be difficult or maybe impossible with anything longer. Watch out for rocks and tree roots backing in but otherwise great spot on a cul de sac so plenty of privacy."

My only complaint is where they chose to park RVs for summertime help. none the less, it’s easy to tune out the rigs if you stay in an upper chalet. Fully equipped. "This cozy cabin had everything you would need for a very nice stay and then some. The owners have thought of everything. There is a wood stove inside (or a regular heating unit if you prefer), a fire pit, and 2 outdoor grills. There is even a washer/dryer, and they provided soap and dryer sheets. The kitchen has a coffee maker - and coffee! - toaster, crock pot, full size fridge, plenty of spices, and lots more.
