We stayed in a fancy cottage which is located in a quiet area and just couple of steps to the beach. The beachfront houses are also located right on the beach but not private enough. (and not worth the extra money!) The beach was nice but sometimes too crowded. Overall this was a good cheap place to stay.

"If you're coming from anywhere as a traveller that is train bus or air... It's too far away 16km which adds another 400 baht to trip. Internet is really bad if you need it. Staff were helpful. Almost no eating facility within a mile. Tbh Sura Thani is strange. Police were helpful finding me reasonable ..."
