"Tres joli logement ! Le jardin est arboré, il y a 2 terrasses : une devant le logement avec une table et une excentrée avec des transats (permet de s’isoler, sous les bambous … très sympa). Piscine plus grande que je ne pensais !! L’emplacement est calme, en pleine campagne et à 50 mn des différents sites du pays basque. Le salon est spacieux, cuisine bien équipée Chambres très sympas, douche agréable A noter : l’escalier est raide L’accueil est très amical Je recommande "

"We had a great time at this property in a picturesque setting. The owner was very kind and accommodating and even brought us vegetabloes from a farmer neighbor. The little house was well appointed and decorated with taste. I was worried about the heat as we went to gan during a heat wave but the nights were cool and did not bother our sleep."

A few things would have improved the property by there being a 'welcome pack' of basic food, a kettle and for bathroom towels to be provided. Property owner was very helpful . "Het is een fijne locatie: groot huis met veel ruimte en grote kamers. Zwembad is heerlijk en best groot. Locatie is prima. Er is veel te bezoeken in de omgeving. Echter in het dorp zelf is niet veel te doen (wel een supermarkt express en twee bakkers. In Orhez (10 min rijden) is er een grote supermarkt. Huis is armoedig ingericht en meubels verouderd (Bank beneden is echt helemaal doorgezeten en bedden zijn erg laag), er is geen airco of vin (wat met temperaturen rond 30 graden wel lekker is) ,...

"The cottage was comfortable & well-equipped. The view from the terrace was amazing, whatever the weather! We enjoyed the pool on warmer days. We were well looked after by Nicole & Henri and Thane & Annabel were very helpful with arrangements for our stay. The area is very beautiful & the cottage is well-situated for local amenities without being overlooked. We have enjoyed a very relaxing break & would certainly be considering a return visit."

"We had a terrific stay at Ken and Shona's rental. The house was full of character, very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen in a quiet and scenic neighbourhood. As cyclists, it was a great spot to launch a bike ride from with countless quiet backroads that were picturesque beyond belief. The house was close to all amenities and it was easy to busier roads/highways to travel to other towns and cities such as Pau, Bayonne etc. The pet donkeys were a special treat and we looked forward to...
