"Great pet friendly property, Comfortable, Totally a spot to relax and unwind, Only thing if anything I would mention is the stairs leading up to the parent retreat are very narrow and would be dangerous for children or the elderly, The only thing missing was electric frying pan, everything else is provided , Beautiful big windows opening to the river view , Over all a very nice place to stay or elderly, "

"The house was great. Exactly as described in the listing. The weather wasn’t the best for a few days but the undercover area out the back meant that we could still cast out some fishing lines and spend some time outside. Caught lots of fish and made friends with the local pelicans and ducks! Great house for a waterfront getaway!"

"Third or fourth year in a row at same house. We love it and the location.. A group of five ladies that used to work together. This location is in the middle of where we now live. Only problem we had was BBQ was not cleaned."

"Overall the location and the property was excellent. However we were extremely disappointed with the property management. Firstly, on 25 January I checked my emails for the instructions on after hours key collection to find nothing in my inbox. I called LJ Hooker Sussex Inlet and they advised me that they hadn’t sent the email (despite me having previously advised that we would be arriving after hours). They then sent me an email stating that we needed to collect the key from their lockbox and that they would include a map detailing how to access the property. The map was very vague and we spent over an hour trying to find the correct building, the penned line on the map took us to the block that only had cottages 1-6 (block B). There was no mention that the property was located above swordfish brewery and was accessed via the side stairs. The provided key to access the building did not work so we were forced to knock loudly to get the attention of people in the building. This was extremely stressful and we were concerned that we would be sleeping in our car for the night. This was not a great start to our Australia Day getaway 😬😬. Also the tag on our keys said “873” which was completely incorrect and even more confusing. We filed the rough edges off the building key which when forced gave us access to the door from the rear car park only. The key can not be used to access the stairs and door from the front/waterfront side."

"Property was the perfect size for 2 couples and 3 kids. Close access to the water for fishing was fabulous. Worth noting if you have super young children as it's not fenced off. Quiet location tucked off the main road, house was well equipped with a superb oven and a large Weber bbq. Make sure to bring your own washing powder and dishwasher tabs."
