The staff is AMAZING and makes this hotel where we stay every trip to NYC. The breakfast is also a big selling point, along with easy location for shows. The rooms are terribly small, not in super fantastic condition; but we don’t spend much time in the room anyway.

I loved the Beacon Hotel. The entire staff were all helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable and even had a complete kitchen. There is a wonderful market right across the street where you can get food to have in the room. I went to NYC to see a show at the Beacon Theater so the location of the hotel was PERFECT!

The rooms had a bad smell. They were dirty and need an upgrade for sure. The pictures look nothing like real life. We checked in got to the room and left. They charged us for that night but we were not staying there! We ended up at the M Social Hotel and it was amazing.

I’m certain for the money I could have booked somewhere a bit cleaner, a bit quieter and with a speedier elevator. Weird breakfast set up with a Starbucks that is not a Starbucks. Weird ‘here’s some vouchers for bottles of water’ situation. Comfy beds though.
