GORGEOUS SOUTH FACING SANDY BEACH ON WEST GRAND TRAVERSE BAY WITH HOT TUB

If you are looking for amazing views and a peaceful beach home to unwind, Bella Vista Beach house is for you! Featuring 100 feet of private beach on Grand Traverse Bay in Sutton’s Bay, Michigan set on almost 2 wooded acres. Here you’ll find a peaceful escape with Caribbean-turquoise waters in this inviting and completely remodeled home.


Complete remodel in 2023. 1,000 sq ft open floor plan with 2 bedroom (each with a queen size bed), a queen size sofa sleeper & 2 bath with a 2 car detached car port. Everything is brand new including all appliances, fixtures, and bedding. 2BR & 2 Bath with some vintage pieces for character. Close to downtown Traverse City (10 Miles) and Sutton’s Bay (5 miles).


In light of COVID Virus, the home is extensively cleaned and sanitized. Smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and first aid kit.


Enjoy swimming in the gently sloped sand bottom and/or enjoy the views from shore and have a beach fire in the fire pit. Jet skis and small boats can be pulled up on shore. The boat launch is less than 2 miles from the house. Kayaks and paddle boat provided. Eagles frequent one of the trees on the property. If you are lucky, you may see them fishing and perching in the tree.


Enjoy day trips to the quaint villages of Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Omena, Northport, Empire, and the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. This home is in the heart of Leelanau County wine country. Wine tasting and color tours in the fall.

After spending your day on the water or sightseeing, enjoy relaxing in the hot tub with views of the water.

Traverse City area amenities include Farmer’s Markets in the summer, brew pubs, specialty shops, and restaurants. There are numerous hiking trails and the Tart Trail for biking which goes from Acme to just North of Sutton’s Bay.

KITCHEN: Fully equipped w/ cooking basics, coffee bar including Keurig coffee maker, island bar, Crock-pot, toaster, and ice maker. 'Complimentary starter supply of paper products and trash bags, renters responsibility after starter supply.

OUTDOOR: Gas Grill, large yard, fire pit, lawn chairs, kayaks, paddle boat.
GENERAL: Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heat, complimentary toiletries, towels & linens.

Beautiful Beach and access to Paddle Boat (+other water rec)
Myself, my husband and two kids (infant and age 5) loved our stay in Suttons Bay. We had such a great time leveraging the private beach access right across the street from the house. The water was crystal clear, with very low waves, and while the beach area itself is not huge, it was more than enough space for the four of us to enjoy. The best part for us was that my five year old could get some time in the water (bring water shoes) without having to worry about the lake knocking him over. We loved having access to the paddle boat as well. The house itself had enough gear for us to cook a couple of meals, sleep comfortably and the host provided some snacky food and a local bottle of wine as well as some recommendations that we tried out and loved. I had no complaints about the space, but we honestly just used it mostly to sleep and tried to be out seeing the world as much as we could as we had lovely weather and only one long weekend to enjoy it. There were a few board games, beach toys, and a hot tub - we just needed more time to be able to enjoy it all!

Hands down the nicest rental we've ever stayed in! We are very picky about where we stay when we vacation and I can honestly say this home was everything we hoped for! Very, very clean and decorated perfectly! It was the perfect size in that it felt cozy yet not crowded. The location is absolutely ideal, close to town yet felt very private and peaceful. We were able to enjoy the wineries, restaurants, golfing, and even a couple day trips to Fish Town and Northport. But the highlight of our stay was the private beach! A short walk across the street (which is the ultimate in convenience) with breathtaking views! We enjoyed it day and night! Thank you so much Kim - we will definitely be back!!

Relaxing beach house in excellent location.
Spent a relaxing week here with my wife and parents. Everything was as described, with comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and a quiet, wooded neighborhood in an excellent location from which to explore all the highlights of the peninsula (Fish Town, Leelanau State Park). Much time was spent paddle boarding and reading on the beach, which is just across a small (quiet) road from the house. Great base for exploring the northwest corner of lower Michigan!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The hosts were very responsive when we had questions. The home was lovely and the little touches from the hosts were great! The private beach was great and we enjoyed a nice fire in the evening on the beach. We were celebrating our wedding with a mini-honeymoon, and it was really perfect for that. The area is so beautiful and we did lots of exploring. Lots of great food and wine, too!

This home is absolutely lovely in every way. Two couples stayed and the set up was perfect. Ensuite primary bathroom and second bedroom with bathroom right next to the room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable as well. It was perfect accommodations. Thank you Kim for a fabulous stay at your home. The little touches like snacks and wine left for us were lovely as well.

Kim’s property was so clean! It is right across the road from the beach (which you can see from the front windows… beautiful view) and has a nice fire pit (down the steps) with chairs and some wood provided! Kim had some incredible little touches (good coffee, tea, snacks, and even a bottle of wine with a sweet note) that made us feel so welcome! Incredible location! So close to Suttons and some awesome wineries and breweries! The hot tub was so clean! Considering booking for next year already!

This lovely home was a perfect landing spot for our cousins’ reunion in wine country. The home was immaculately clean and and extremely comfortable for two couples.
