"This was a nice hotel, comfy bed and pillows, had the best shower ever! But there is no one at the desk after 6pm, so we got the key from the mailbox. Just coffee, juice, muffins and yogurt for breakfast. Our room was cold when we arrived. And we could hear traffic and smell smoke the whole time. I’m not sure if the smoke was from the fires in town or if it was coming from someone else’s room. I would have liked a microwave if not in our room, out in the lobby to heat up my coffee "

"There was a strong perfume smell from the cleaning products they used, which might not offend other people, but I personally am annoyed by chemical perfume smells and needed to open the window. And then I discovered the heat did not work or the thermostat in the room is a deception. I cranked it up and nothing happened, it must be controlled from some other location. "The place was nice and clean. It is an addition to someone’s home so you can hear them through the walls which is slightly annoying since I woken up by it. We were really nervous to make noise and disturb them so it did not feel private. Kitchen is just as it shows in the listing and there is coffee and a mini fridge. All you need if you don’t cook. You need to wash dishes and mugs in the bathroom sink. Polite owners. "

"My husband and i loved the ocean front views and sounds and walk on the beach in the morning The location was great close to salem and marblehead a beautiful little town . The place was clean and we loved the eclectic antique style and furnishings that were super comfortable also love the big wood burning fireplace..our Host was top notch immediate response and care for whatever you needed made for a great experience. Also briefly met the owner such a really nice person . We will stay again "
