"This was my second stay in this beautiful one bedroom rental on the Swan River. Late October in Bigfork is a beautiful-quiet time of year and this location is the very best for walking to shops, restaurants, theatre and hiking trails along the river. Although I stayed solo with my rescue pup, it can sleep 4 people and still feel spacious. Lovely outdoor patio, fully equipped kitchen with island and a great fireplace that can be enjoyed from dining/living/kitchen areas. Comfy furniture and lots of artwork. Showers is extra big too with plenty of hot water. I especially appreciate the Hastens linens on the bed — dreamy! Host Linda is super easy to communicate with — and an all around very nice person. Highly recommend. "

"We had a great experience at the Mountain Lake Lodge. The location was excellent and the room was very comfortable and nice. One thing it did not have was a kitchenette (which the description said it did). It had a microwave and small fridge. There were lots of restaurants close by though. "

"There were four of us for this vacation. Two couples…and we were thoroughly impressed by this property. Right on the lake with soothing wave noises at night. Kitchen was well appointed and we were able to cook meals. Propert was beautiful with hot tub which we used and we even had a 300# black bear visiting the deck one night. We would definitely book again"

"It is a beautiful modern property with all the amenities and more. We stayed here for one weekend in the end of October. The cottage is really nicely designed, the view is incredible, its clean, lots of natural light, comfy furniture. The only remark- it would be helpful if the owners specified in the listing that it located across the street from the lake. from the look at the pictures we assumed that it would be waterfront, with access to the lake, which is not the case- owners live in the house on the lake, across the lake, and you are staying in the apartment over garage, that is facing the house. We didn't stay during the summer, so it wasn't much of an issue for us, but if we came here during the summer time I would definitely be disappointed that I couldn't have direct assess to the lake. "
