"We really enjoyed staying at The Monte Vista during the Sourwood Festival. It was great to walk to town to eat and attend the festival. The hotel is old but very charming. It has a lot of stairs and no TV in some rooms, so be sure to book a room accordingly."
"This was our third stay at Red Rocker. It is always the loveliest place to visit, so easy to get to downtown and Violet could not be more helpful or kind. We will be back again!"

"We stayed in the Penthouse for a very reasonable rate. The penthouse was phenomenal… very VERY Spacious, and offered all of the comforts of home with 2 bedrooms, kitchen area and plenty of comfortable seating. Nicely decorated w lots of attention to details. If we return, would 100% book this again!"

"Everything about our stay was perfect. Our host Shirley was amazing and made us immediately feel at home. The cottage is beautiful and sits on lovely grounds surrounded by an amazing garden. The location is walking distance to a quaint town and provides easy on -off access to the highway making it convenient to access all attractions and downtown Asheville. "
"We love to stay here when visiting Black Mountain. The only thing I could say that might need improvement is the caulk in our shower. It needs replacing as it looked moldy."
"It was only an overnight stay, and the room was a bit spartan. However, it was quite clean and everything worked well. One a very minor problem, as noted by others, is that the toilet required a long flush or multiple flushes. My problem is that I forgot to ask for additional towels. I checked in at night and by the time I noticed that I need extra towels, I didn't think anyone would be around who could fulfill that request."
"This room was perfect for us! Comfortable and quiet! The kitchen has all of the appliances and gadgets you need. . It's a short walk to town, for dinner, drinks and music. We saw a great 4th fireworks show. I would definitely book this room again!"
