"For a UP property very nice. It’s in the process of being updated and pool area and outdoor areas still haven’t been done. That said when we asked for the porch facing the lake to be cleaned of bugs it was done promptly. Only other negative was water pressure and I didn’t like the ultra fragrant liquid soaps. But I asked in lobby for a bar and was given my choice of normal soaps. Super nice staff and Bigby coffee in lobby was a plus And onsite restaurant was very good. "

"Spotless! Large kitchen, lots of seating. Lower floor is extremely spacious with a huge shower and new washer/dryer. Great deck overlooking large yard. Heard 30 birds on the Merlin app. Can’t say enough positive things about this place. Very comfortable and relaxing."
"Comfy beds, pleasant staff, nice roomy room. Clean bathroom, with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion - great smelling. Nice breakfast too. We stayed on a Sunday night and arrived late, which made dining options few. If staying in Escanaba, which is a smaller town, be aware when arriving late on a Sunday. Nice size pool, but we didn't swim. Overall, everything was great. "
