"The house is half way up a mountain with a spectacular view. I liked to spend time sitting on the balcony outside my bedroom looking down into the valley. The view includes the Lauerzersee and Zugersee lakes with the towns, villages, roads and railways around them. Surrounding this are green hills and mountains all around (in October). "Beautiful hotel, and delicious breakfast. The only issue I had is that there was a film festival happening right outside my window. The event was extremely loud and went on after midnight. Since the room didn't have AC, it was hard to keep the windows closed so that meant we couldn't go to sleep until very late, and were constantly being awake by the noise outside."

"Perfect little space on the mountain side located on a farm, owners/family were extremely welcoming and nice. It is located close to a lot of beautiful hikes and activities, food in the surrounding area was amazing. Overall a great place to experience what Switzerland can offer."

"Cons- The family accomodation not suitable for more than 4 people with a max of 2 adults per stay. The towels were tiny, they were only big enough to wrap around my 5 year old son. The lift in the building was tiny and only big enough for 2 people. Pro-The apartment was easily accessible and the communication was excellent. The supermarkets were the next to the apartment which was great. The walk to the city was easy and close. "

"All the staff were friendly and professional. They made it feel like home. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was super convenient. I loved their daily breakfast buffet which was included in hotel rate. Overall, this was a great hotel and I would love to come back when I visit Lucerne."

"This property was SO CUTE! The staff is so wonderful, and takes the time to make the stay special. The hotel itself has the cutest little vibe! The rooms are all a little different and have so many nice features to make traveling easy (cut out sections for luggage, large open floor space, etc). The beds are very comfortable. If you like boutique hotels, this one is a gem! "

"This was an awesome hotel. 10' walk from train station and no stairs (however, there are cobblestones). The front desk staff were particularly awesome. I forget her name, but one of the ladies was so helpful when my husband needed some medical help. Very much appreciated! The only small negative is that the soap dispensers were VERY hard for me to squeeze (both shower & sink) to get soap dispensed - but I do have arthritis :( Other than that, don't hesitate to book these lovely, yet affordable hotel."

"Small hotel close to the train station and about an 8-10 minute walk to the old town. The “big room” was spacious with a nice sitting area. I saw the “medium room” and it was big enough for 2 people. You may hear trams go by but it’s not loud and frequent. The area around the hotel is great with several coffee shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again."
