Hotel is a little dated and the uphill walk (including a number of footpath stairs) from George Street with a suitcase in tow wasn’t ideal.

This property was absolutely amazing! Clean, comfortable, and perfectly positioned to walking distance from so much stuff. The staff was a cut above. I would like to mention Wisky, Daniel, Colin, Ricardo and Tara (possibly misspelled). They were just a few that I would like to highlight but honestly they were all amazing!!! I woul definitely stay here again and again!

This place is second to none. The service alone is worth every dollar not to mention how incredible the hotel, views and facilities are. Absolutely stunning so much that I have stayed many times and will continue to.

I've always wanted to stay at the Shangri-La Sydney. I'm glad I did it was a beautiful hotel but the rooms were no different to any of the other hotels I've stayed at in Sydney. Considering the price the room was clean but not any better than any other Hotel that are much cheaper. The location is okay but not somewhere you would walk back to by yourself full stop and the altitude bar was closed on the night we wanted to go and have cocktails for a private function it would have been nice to know that prior to being there. Overall it is a nice hotel I just think that there is more hype around this hotel than it deserves.
