The Canyons Retreat - Spacious 2 Story Apartment in Bush Location

The Canyons Retreat is a two story self contained private apartment with its own entrance. It is located on the fringe of the Blue Mountains National Park away from the hustle and bustle of town. This remote location offers a tranquil bush environment, quiet starry nights where you can enjoy fire side chats over a glass of wine yet still being only ten minutes from all Upper Mountains amenities. This is a private apartment attached the double brick main house.

Indulge yourself at night and sleep in Australia's finest linens. 165gsm pure linen adorns the queen size bed. Woven from the world’s oldest luxury fibre, 100% natural linen and air dried in the mountain air before gracing the bed . We hope you enjoy a luxurious night "In the Sac" like no other.

Enjoy a morning cup of tea or coffee while taking in the fresh air. Bird lovers and photographers can enjoy the local Glossy Blacks and Yellow Tipped Black Cockatoos, Gang Gangs, and King Parrots to name a few. Access to the renowned Grand Canyon Walking trail is just a short walk away. This remote accommodation makes you feel like you are tucked away on a secluded Blue Mountains escape and boasts the peace and serenity that the Upper Blue Mountains is known for.

Blackheath, Katoomba, Leura, Wentworth Falls and the Megalong Valley are only a short drive away, boasting great cafes, dining, day walks, spas, wineries and more.

The kitchen has all you need to cook a meal and includes, a single burner induction cook top, convection/microwave oven with grill, baking dishes, pots, pans, utensils, plates and glasses. We also include the basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, oil, butter, salt & pepper and condiments.

The upstairs living room is open plan and has a large sitting area with two lounges, a coffee table and television (50" Smart TV including Netflix, Stan, Binge and more). Alternatively guests can have a relaxing read in The Nook, a reading area tucked into the alcove of the Cape Cod style dormer window upstairs.

Guests have access to our terraced fire pit area which includes wood and kindling for the fire pit and charcoal for the Weber BBQ. Guests also have access to our covered BBQ area inclusive of picnic table and gas BBQ (gas included). These facilities are available to all guests staying at The Canyons and look out into the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area .

Parking is onsite in the driveway with easy access to the apartment.

Perfect
Beautiful, clean and relaxing. We'll be back for sure, denise is a wonder of information and knows locations inside and out. The kitchen has everything you need to stay comfortably and the view from the firepit area is perfect for breakfast and or arvo beer.

This property is an amazing oasis away from the tourist crowds, surrounded by quiet bush land yet close enough to allow east access to everything the blue mountains have to offer. A superb option - would recommend it to anyone.
