The property is situated on the first floor of an old building with no lifts. It is very convenient to the centre and it’s a lovely walk to the sights. Parking can be a little difficult to find so you may have to be ready to walk. Highly recommend the property for a couple nights stay.

I recently stayed at the Nostos rooms & Apartments in Syracuse, Sicily, Italy. Everything was great including the location, and I have no complaints. When we requested an iron and ironing board, they were brought to our room. There was no bathtub, but the shower was big! I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice, quiet place to stay on a busy street. They were very nice to allow me to check in early. Really just to drop my bag. The door on the street looks a bit drab; but, once you're in it's very clean and comfortable. Shower pressure was strong, so nice to have.

Very happy five night stay. In a good location in that it is near the railway station and also near the tourist areas but as not in either is a quieter place to stay despite the busy road outside which when inside one can't hear. Management and room service were first class, efficient, helpful and friendly. Good value too, would happily stay there again.

Best place to stay visiting Ortigia and Syracusa!
Excellent location. Short walk from train station, short walk to Ortigia and also the archeological area in Syracusa. Grocery store, cafe and restaurants nearby. Very glad we picked Nostos rooms as it made our stay memorable!

The rooms are perfectly located for exploring the Island of Ortigia. Our room had a fantastic Balcony that overlooked the Street, and even though we missed the 8pm check in the Staff accommodated us with no fuss.

The rooms was very clean. In fact, everything looked new, like no one ever stayed there before. I really liked the way the room was laid out and was extremely comfortable. The manager of the property was very helpful. The property is ideally located in that you are quite close to the bus station and train station, but also close to the bridge to Ortiga.

Non existent service. This is more like a Air B&B - absolutely not a family run B&B. We were on a fourth floor walk up. No elevator. No one to ask questions. No breakfast. The room is large and has a stove to cook yourself. The second day, they cleaned the room but left the sink area filthy. Great location to visit Ortigia. Very close walking distance

GOOD PROPERTY IN GOOD LOCATION
We enjoyed our stay at Nostos rooms, having arrived by train it was between the station and Ortigia Island, great spot! Just a 400 metre walk to the island and around us were great places for coffee and breaky! It was quiet, spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Staff were lovely would highly recommend. There are two flights of stairs to get into the property but they were wide and easy to get up and down.

Had a room with nice view over the main road. Room is modern and clean. Bed is comfortable. Shower is the best . Breakfast provided at a nearby bar was ok. Easy to find free parking on the side street. Just be aware that the room is on the 2nd floor, stairs only, no lift.

Beautiful room
When you see the building from the street, it looks quite old and weird, but the rooms are super nice and new. The instructions to find the room were not very clear, but the person who was talking to us by message was very friendly. On hotels.com it says that the hotel has free parking, but it's not true. There are some free parking spots on the streets nearby, but they were quite full. The location of the hotel is very good, you can walk to the popular spots, bars, and restaurants.

The apartment is great: modern, renovated, clean. It is three blocks from the bridge to Ortigia, what makes it very convenient. Laundromat and two groceries at the corner, along with several restaurants and a rental car with multiple company options (Alamo, Enterprise, etc). The apartment we stayed was on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so the arrival and departure days were tough. The apartment is cleaned every day, the A/C is strong and powerful and wifi worked well. It could have more kitchen utensils, such as pan lids and a sharper knife — but it was a nice option for the pricey apartments in the island of Ortiga.

No vip treatment was supposed to get bottle of wine, room upgrade etc. No acknowledgement at all. Room ok but don't expect a sleep in. noise from 7.30am, they really want you out of the rooms as early as possible, pretty disappointing
