Εξαιρετική η διαμονή μας. Η κυρία Δώρα είναι καταπληκτική οικοδέσποινα, μας έκανε να νιώθουμε σαν φιλοξενούμενοι στο σπίτι της και όχι σαν πελάτες. Πολύ καθαρό και βολικό διαμέρισμα. Ιδανικό για οικογένειες. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ!

geräumiges Haus in Strandnähe

Vielen Dank nochmal an Dora und Anna für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt in ihrem Guesthouse. Da ich mit meinen Kindern ohne Auto unterwegs war, wurden wir von Anna an der Fähre abgeholt und auch wieder dort hin gebracht, das alles lief reibungslos. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl in Doras Studios. Anna erklärte uns alle Highlights von Syros, somit wußten wir sofort wie und wo wir hin müssen. Die Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus war ideal um die Insel zu erkunden.

Beautiful

Excellent stay at Dora's. Clean quiet and comfy. Fully equipped and in walking distance to a small beach (Recommended for a quick dive, not a day in sun beds). Tip: Try the hand made pies. Cheese or spinach both delicious! Dora is a very pleasant hostess.

Loved it!

So originally I wanted to visit Patmos but I couldn't find any ferry tickets to return to Athens before my plane home. I told the ticket lady to just send me anywhere. I was sent to Syros. I wasn't looking forward to it too much as I was still disappointed I couldn't go to Patmos, but that all changed as soon as I got there. Ms. Dora was so welcoming when I got to the hotel. The location is so beautiful. I am a single woman and when I read the reviews they were all by families, so I said... "maybe not for me." but it was the cheapest I could find on hotels.com (and I want my free night) so I booked with Dora Hotel. Besides the hotel, the whole island was beautiful. The beach is just RIGHT THERE. The sky is SO blue. And when I returned back to the hotel late and needed a snack there was Dora to provide me with some chips and a juice. The next day I rolled out of bed into my bathing suit and hit the beach! People were so nice, I even met a nice guy who showed me the island! The rooms are like little apartments so there was a stove and a table and a little day bed. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable and there is an air conditioner. There's also a little front porch of your own. Nice sized bathroom. The only problem was the internet, but seriously if you're staying here and WANT (not need) to use the internet, you have some problems. I really loved it here and I hope I make it back to Syros again one day, and I would definitely stay here again.

hôtel sympathique a 50 m de la plage

séjour très agréable sur une ile qui a garde son authenticité. un hôtel charmant personnalisé ,loin des standards assez froids des super structures. un tourisme proche des gens .Un accueil sympathique et du personnel disponible toujours a l écoute malgré la barrière de la langue.Un endroit ou l on se sent bien au calme. a un bon quart d heure de la capitale pour les courses les manifestations ...mais de petits restos partout très sympathiques et pas cher du tout et copieux avec une cuisine locale .

We would stay again

An idyllic, small hotel in Megas Gialos. The room was tidy, nicely furnished and in a good condition. There was a friendly atmosphere in the hotel, and Dora who runs the place was very helpful with car renting and everything. Outside the hotel there's a small rocky beach and a bus stop. The bus to Ermoupolis takes about 25-30 min and it runs until midnight. Megas Gialos sandy beach is within a 10 min walk. There are not too many services in Megas Gialos but you can buy bottled water and snacks at the hotel. Also there's a taverna right next to the hotel.

Fredfyllt idyll

Rolig og veldig hyggelig familiedrevet hotell. Relativt små, men praktisk innredete leiligheter med mulighet for å lage egen mat. Ligger en havtimes kjøring fra hovedstaden Hermopolis, men har en liten strand innenfor gangavstand og kort kjøreavstand til større strender og kaféer, restauranter og butikker. Landlig og idyllisk beliggenhet med barnevennlige eiere og eget lekeområde gjør hotellet til et funn for småbarnsfamilier. Det er bussforbindelse til Hermopolis, men det blir tungvint uten bil.

Accueil chaleureux. Nous avons commande des fruits et repas et avons ete livres sur place. De meme nous avons loue une voiture qui nous a ete deposee a l hotel. L ile est tres agreable et vaut le detour .OLIVIER PARIS
